I was able to hook my shop vaccum to one end of the conduit and suck the piston through it tied to string from the opposite end. Was much easier than I could do it with the string tied to a plastic bag. I have used plastic bags for doing this on shorter distances before but they couldn't get the job done on this pull. I was worried about it being able to get around the angle joints but it travels like a jet. Make sure you have something on the end of your vacuum nozzle, if your nozzle has a larger diameter, because you will be fishing it and a lot of string out of your vacuum if you don't! It's pricey but it's necessary. Review: Works better than bag - I had about a 150’ run of 1” conduit with multiple bends. I tried plastic bags and a piston shape that I made myself but kept coming up about 10’ – 30’ short depending on the direction I tried to pull from. I kept hitting a snag.
