Very good signal - but I live in London. Powered via 2 x AA Batteries. The ones provided are re-chargeable and can be recharged directly from wall to radio (cable supplied). Also it has two SD card slots. I read from someone they only allow for approx 90 tracks each. I have not tested this, but it seems odd. So ,so far so good, however, instructions are very small. And the function keys are poor (most of them). Search for stations is easy. But the radio inserts them in find order, to which you cannot change. i.e. Gratest Hits Radio is button 33 (so 3+3). - you cannot move to favorite button 1 (example). Not the end of the world, just annoying. Also another annoying thing for me is whan you have the radio 'on' it does not or allow you to then view the time. Surely, a simple bit of programing?
