It seems like such a simple thing. A long tined dedicated for for carving roasts, turkeys, etc. but it really makes a difference when you are trying to take a slice off a piece of meat that seems to want to get away from you and there is no good way to hold it in place.

商品の説明には 12 in とありましたが 全長25.5cm で 12 in である 30.48 cm には5cm足りません。 またフォークの部分も 6インチという表記がありましたが、長さが 約5cm ほど短いです。 フォークの長さも 均一ではありませんし、持ち手の金属の部分も 亀裂が入っているなど商品としては微妙です。 気になる方は 購入を控えた方がよろしいかと思います。 返品や交換の手続きが煩わしいですし、これぐらいの値段だったら我慢できなくもないので、今回はこのままにしておきますが、正直 あまり他の方におすすめできる商品 また店舗ではないと思います。

ステーキ肉やローストビーフ、焼豚等に刺して持ち上げる目的で購入。YouTubeでフレンチの三國シェフがステーキフォークを使用しており恰好だけでも真似をしたかったので。 鉄板焼き屋さんで肉を切るときに使用してるフォークは曲がっているタイプですが、この商品はストレートですので肉に刺して持ち上げたり、フォークの部分で挟んで肉を持ち上げて裏側の焼け具合を確認したりする場合に重宝します。 大きな塊の肉だと菜箸で持ち上げるのは困難ですし、トングでも持ち上げるのに苦労することがあります。フォークの先端部分はそれなりにとがっているので肉にスッと突き刺さり簡単に肉を持ち上げることができます。ハンドルの部分も持ちやすく、とても使いやすいです。 つくり自体はしっかりしていますので大満足ですが、全体的な仕上げは高級感がでるような感じではありません。金属部分の磨き上げ具合やハンドルの木の部分が雑といるほどではありませんが高級感はありません。機能的に必要十分で、千円少々で手に入ったことを考えると満足できる商品といえます。
