I love the brightness of the color green I chose and the quality of the zipper closure is spot on. I do not feel as though I'm going to end up messing up the zipper and I zip it and unzip it at least once every day. The bag has a little padding in the sides but not a great deal. I feel this could be due to the unlikeliness of using this bag for portability. I know I wouldn't. This bag does not come with a handle for carrying so I wouldn't recommend using this bag in that manner. The outer material is moderately slick so you wouldn't get a very good grip on it to try to carry it around all the time. The color is vibrant and cute. The design is simple, which I wanted. The inside is white and reminds me of a plush animal. The padding is generous and makes me feel secure about my laptop within. My only problem was that it fits a little too tightly with my 13.3" Macbook Pro Mid-2012 model (the one with a disc drive). I have iBenzer's matching red Soft-Touch case on my laptop, which isn't thick, but it still adds some width, and it can be hard to close the zippers around it as a result. The corners are too rounded for the more rectangular corners of the laptop. Other than the too-tight fit, it works well. Also, for people complaining that there aren't any pockets for cords? This is a sleeve, not a carrier bag.
