I’m getting ready to start surgical tech school so I bought these ahead of time to get a head start, I already work in a hospital so I kinda have an idea of what stuff is and let me say, ITS AWESOME! These cards have descriptions of the tool, what it’s used for and little extras that make it so helpful! This product is awesome and highly recommend it!!

YES YES YES I used to study for surgical tech school and even passed them on to another classmate in the class behind me. Gives great information and helps when you are about to do a rotation in a new speciality. Even now it is helpful when considering a new speciality or reviewing for my current job!!!

I am in my first quarter in the surgical Technologist program AAS-T. I have learned very little and wanted flash cards to help because there are so many instruments I will need to learn and don't want to make them by hand. I found these flashcards on amazon and they are PREFECT!!!. I LOVE the pictures, alias, description and proper name on the cards. The layout and pictures are so clear and not cheaply made. The boxs corners had a little wrinkles but that was all shippings fault. I just clear boxing taped the corners to strengthen them and that works. Wish it would have been shipped with an outer box instead of a traditional Amazon plastic bag. Worth every penny

Love the cards but there are a few misspellings. On some pictures, I wish there were better closeups but other than that I am happy. If I know I have a long wait, I will bring the cards with me and study. Brought the whole stack to the hair salon. Usually I will just stick a specialty in my lunchbox and study on the bus ride home.

I love it! I wish I had bought this when I was still in my surgical technology classes for this would have helped tremendously, but it is what it is. I will be using this to help retain my instruments while I'm looking for a job as a surgical technologist. This is in order of speciality so I can study one at a time, plus it comes with a good way to study the flash cards for those of you who don't know where to start or get overwhelmed from the large amounts of studying. Just break it down to speciality and follow the Leitner system of studying (which they included) and your set. Get this and you won't need to worry about your instrument knowledge anymore. I am almost graduating and I came back to review this product that I pretty much used everyday. I didn’t have a lot of money to invest in books or other materials, so I chose wisely what to buy that I knew was going to carry me through school and I do not regret this purchase. It’s amazing to remember the instruments, their functions, separated by categories and by surgery specialty.
