I can't say enough about the manufacturer of this product. I have used many of their products over the years and they never disappoint. This wireless mouse is around the 5th that I have purchased.

I used the Logitech M 215 for many years and was very disappointed when I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore at a reasonable price. I have small hands and the Logitech M 215 fit my hand perfectly, one more reason I was sad that it stopped working. When I found the Logitech M 185 I thought it looked similar so I decided to give it a try. So glad I did!! It is the same small size and basically feels the same AND it costs less than $ 13. Can't beat that!! Heads Up: The M 215 had the red light on the bottom so when I unpacked this one and put the battery in it, I thought it was DOA (dead on arrival) because there was no visible light emanating from the bottom of the mouse. I was about to send it back when I noticed the tiny imprint "Invisible Optic" on the bottom. Mystery solved!! The optical wireless mouse is functioning correctly and flawlessly!! I attached a picture of my old M 215 and the new M 185 (on the right) as a size comparison reference.

If you just need a basic mouse, this is the one for you. A click pad and a scroll wheel, period. AND, there is an On/Off switch on the bottom. It will not "sleep" after a certain number of minutes. I was happy to discover they still made this model. I buy a new one every two years, as they seem to lose their ability to "hold and drag" after 24 months of heavy usage. I use my mouse about 12 hours a day.

Some reviewers said they liked this really well on CAD type programs but I find it a bit to course and harder to use but not horrid by any means. I need to order a $.99 micro switch and fix my much higher end Logitech mouse as much easier to use for my needs. This is a great little mouse and will replace my off brand mouse I take on trips for sure! Rick

What can be said about a Logitech Mouse? Yes, it works the way you would expect it to. It is from Logitech. This came with a Logitech keyboard and together it works like you would expect it to. The Amazon price was great. Of course, Prime had it delivered quickly. Did I say that I was happy with the purchase? Well, yes, it is a good product from a great manufacturer and it meets my goals 100% to communicate with my PC.

It's quieter than other mouses, but it's NOT "silent." Also, the other one I had (which was quieter), died within two years (albeit after heavy daily use). I'll try a different one when this one dies. That said, it ~is~ quieter than other mice, so I can tune it out when my husband games. And that's another plus: this mouse has been responsive enough for his gaming.

For the price, this is the best mouse I have found.
