A Case Worth Having More Than One Of!
I purchased two of the Gator GC-ELECTRIC-A cases because I needed storage for my two Tradition Jerry Reed signature model “T” style guitars. I chose this particular case for the looks, style and price. I have owned a couple of these cases in the past and they did prove to be worthy. The quality is what I have come to expect from Gator although I was not impressed with the factory packaging. The fit is as advertised and the seller’s performance was excellent. Both of the Tradition guitars I put in these cases fit perfectly. Both guitars are 39 inches long from the lower end of the body to the top end of the headstock. Both ends do touch but the guitars lay in very easily without being forced. Going on the pretense that nobody cares how many guitars I have just allow me to say for the benefit of others that all my Stratocasters are also 39 inches long and fit very nicely. My Telecasters are all 38-1/2 inches long and easily fit of course. As far as width goes all guitars mentioned fit like they should and do not rattle around. Just per chance someone may want to know this case fits my PRS SE Custom 24 and my Rickenbacker 620 like a glove. I found no misaligned hinges or latches. I found no fumes from adhesive and no faults in the plush lining which is adequately padded for a case in this price range. Is there a down side? Depends on how you look at it as this is a very lightweight case and some may equate that to being flimsy but it is not. Both of these cases weighed in at 8-1/2 pounds and appear to be quite sturdy. You may find a case that is twice as durable but you may also pay twice the price. I would be doubtful these cases would stand up to rigorous touring and being tossed around by roadies but for simple storage and protection in the studio or a short trip to a jam session they are fantastic. For the price you pay you get a very nice place to store your guitar!

An Exceptional Blend of Protection and Precision - A Glowing Review for the Guitar ABS Case
I recently acquired the Guitar ABS Case, and I'm absolutely thrilled to share my experience with this remarkable piece of gear. It's not every day that you come across a guitar case that combines top-tier protection with a perfect fit, but this case has managed to exceed all my expectations. Without a doubt, it's earned its place as a cornerstone in my musical journey. From the moment I unboxed the case, it was clear that no compromise had been made in terms of quality. The ABS construction boasts a robustness that instills confidence in its ability to safeguard my instrument from the rigors of travel, whether I'm headed to a local gig or a cross-country tour. The case's solid shell and reinforced corners offer an extra layer of protection that is truly commendable. What truly sets this case apart is its tailored fit. As a guitar enthusiast, I've owned my fair share of cases, but none have fit as snugly and comfortably as this one. The custom-designed interior cradles my guitar securely, preventing any unnecessary movement that could potentially cause damage. The padding is both plush and firm, striking the perfect balance between cushioning and support. It's a comforting feeling to know that my instrument is enveloped in such a precise and secure manner. The attention to detail in the design of the Guitar ABS Case is something to behold. The latches are sturdy and lock with a satisfying click, offering an extra layer of security. The ergonomic handle makes carrying the case a breeze, even during long walks to gigs or practice sessions. The case's overall construction exudes durability and quality, further enhancing its value. One of the aspects that truly amazed me was the versatility of this case. It accommodates various types of guitars with ease, from acoustic to electric, and even some unconventional shapes. This adaptability is a testament to the thoughtful engineering that went into its creation, making it suitable for a wide range of guitarists. The interior storage compartments are a thoughtful addition, allowing me to stow away my accessories and cables conveniently. This eliminates the need for carrying an extra bag, streamlining my gear management process. In conclusion, the Guitar ABS Case is nothing short of amazing. It strikes a harmonious balance between providing exceptional protection and offering a tailored fit that instills confidence in the safety of my instrument. With its attention to detail, durability, and versatile design, it's a must-have for any guitarist who values their instrument. I wholeheartedly recommend this case to fellow musicians seeking the pinnacle of guitar protection and convenience.

Fits Strat Size guitars and PRS - Lightweight
This is a great hard plastic case. Fits many standard Stratocaster sized guitars snugly when the case is closed. The Ibanez S-Series thinner guitar body does move around in the case when shaken but would be fine for transporting to gigs in your own care. PRS is a little snug across the widest part of the body but does fit. Les Paul goes in snugly but I cannot close and latch the lid, the Les Paul body is too thick but this case was not designed for that model of guitar. The latches are good enough, not the highest quality hardware, but matches the strength of the plastic and keeps the weight down. This is good value at less than $90 in 2025. Here are some pictures of different guitar models with the lid open. Note as with most cases, you will need to remove your tremolo bar when closing the lid.

Great protection for most guitars, for the money.
I bought this case for my brand new Fender Telecaster because the price lured me away from a hard shell Fender case. I haven't taken it on any long journeys, but for lugging it around town and in the car, it gets the job done. Here are a few things I like/ dislike about the case I received: Pros- -The case will fit your guitar very snugly. My Telecaster fits firmly in place, the headstock brushes up against the top of the case and the body brushes up against the bottom. There is also little wiggle room horizontally if you plan on standing the case up. The plush is surprisingly soft for the price. -It's stackable. If you own multiple guitars and are tight on space, the groove on the bottom of the case fits inside the one on the top. -There is plenty of space inside the case. I've got a strap, a set of spare strings, a cable, earplugs, picks, a tuner, etc. all comfortably fit in the two compartments. There's also room by the headstock if you need extra space. -It's tough enough to get you most places. I wouldn't necessarily recommend stowing it on a plane or in a cargo bay, but under your watch, and with care, this case offers protection as well as any other one does on the road. Cons- -Craftsmanship is a bit of an issue with the case, or at least the one I received. The outside of the case feels a bit cheaply made. Whenever I close it, I have to pull (with some force) on the lid to make sure it aligns properly with the bottom. Otherwise it jams up when it latches. Not a huge complaint, as it's pretty easy to live with, but it's worthy of knocking a star off. -Not as much body contour and neck support as you would get with a brand name case. My Fender hard shell case, for example, is softer plush and carved exactly to fit my Fender P Bass. Since this case is half the cost of brand name cases, however, and doesn't advertise to fit any guitar specifically, it doesn't have to. -Doesn't fit all electric guitars. If you have a guitar with a very wide body, for example, my friend's Gretsch hollow body is too wide for this case. Be careful and measure your guitar or try one out before you spend the money. In all, this is a cheap case that is very good value for money. It's a little short, and fits most electric guitars snugly. Although there are some minor issues with quality, I know that my Telecaster is well protected by this case and I trust it enough to carry around and haul in the car.

Strong and protective guitar case
Like many who read this, I spent time looking at the various cases - and really liked the way the Fender tweed cases looked. They were on the expensive side - around $150. And, I finally noticed they weighed around 13 pounds. 5 layers of plywood. The cheaper versions caught my eye - they were much less, are made of 3 layers of plywood, and the reviews indicated 'they are more protective than a gig bag'. Great. Then I started thinking that what I wanted to do was to protect the guitar - and would likely spend little admiring the nice tweed fabric - which apparently is very susceptable to dirt and wear. I noticed the Gator case. Seem them. Seemed to be very strong and extraordinarily protective. If I want to protect it, maybe this was the case. I noticed one of the reviews which complained the storage compartment was open - so I hesitated. The more I looked at the pictures the more it seemed the lid would fit over that part, making it secure. So, after a few weeks of looking here and elsewhere, I ordered a Gator case. It arrived on the 5th day - as did everything else I ordered. Opened the box - which was large - and took out the packing and the case. Its made of very thick plastic and a nice grain pattern - has Gator Case on an inset piece. Has 3 of what looks like very heavy duty latches and the type of key lock used on airlines. The inside is molded with a plush fabric covering - probably sprayed on, but certainly more than sufficent to protect the finish of a guitar. It is made so that the guitar body fits against the side preventing movement - its not crushing, it fits. The neck goed into a padded indentation. And the two storage areas are on each side of the neck. I put some picks and strings in one side, and a strap in the other, closed and latched the case - then first carried it as you normally would, put it on its end - did not hear any shifting. Checked. Nada. Closed it back up and actively shook it in every way and orientation I could. Opened it back up - and nothing had shifted. The guitar was in place. None of the picks had migrated as the lid does indeed seal off the storage compartments. You cannot crush the case by standing on it - and I weight 200 pounds. If you want to protect your guitar this is unbeatable. Looks good. And is less than half the cost of some of the wooden type cases - and comparable to the low end wooden ones. But this is a far superiour product.

Well Done
I recieved this item on time and in great shape. The Outer shell is very sturdy and can obviously take a beating. The lid, when open, is supported by a ballistic nylon strap, and additional nylon straps on top of the hinges so that the weight of the lid doesn't put pressure on the hinges. The are two accessory comparments in the case that will hold pretty much any small thing you need to take to a gig like picks, strings, straps, rags and cables. The inner compartment is made of styrofoam padding lined with a beautiful plush surface that will not scratch or buff your guitar. The guitar is very well enclosed and will not move around the slightest bit. I ordered this case for a Micheal Kelly Hourglass, which has a bit if a big bottom end (baby got back), so it was about an inch too small to fit naturally. However, I just used some pliers to crush and shape the foam around the edges where it was too small and viola! The guitar now fits wonderfully. In fact, it seems MORE snugly fit and well immobilized. If you have a Les Paul or any other big bottomed guitar, this case is still useable if you dont mind a little 3-second self modification. Overall, the case was a steal at this price and I recommend it to anyone.

Nice case! Fits PRS SE 24 Custom
Great case, a little thicker than my fender wood/leather case but nonetheless a sturdy and durable case. I would recommend this case. Fits my PRS SE 24

Good case
I actually own 3 of these. Holds a strat or tele guitar really nice. It's not too heavy and feels sturdy. I probably wouldn't trust it on a flight but looks fine for everyday use.

Strong, Well Built Great
The case is very well made and is well worth the price. The outer casing is very strong, the metal joining the two sides together including the hinges is of a high quality and isn't cheap and tacky. The inside protects the guitar very well, it has a soft fabric that the guitar can sit on and it will protect the guitar well. The shape of the inside is shaped to fit an electric guitar so it's secured into position as you travel. There is also two slot on the left and right of the guitar neck where you can store additional items, i've got my main guitar lead in one, an MXR pedal in the other can i have another guitar lead in the same slot as the MXR. Perfect fit. You can store you picks or anything in there and it's secured in. I leave a bag of picks in the guitar section. The only point of criticism which is only very slight, depending on how your using your case is the lock. The lock isn't the best lock in the world. There are latches which hold the sides together which are very well built and the center latch is the only one with a locking mechanism. The lock could easily be forced open but no one is really going to do that if your in the same room as your guitar so the lock will do it's job. Hence 5 out of 5 stars.
