As a small test monitor it is awesome. It very small which makes it very handy to carry around and test equipment. The picture is very sharp and while it small, it lets you confirm that you do have a signal. I have t powered with a small12V power cell intended to recharge a cell phone. It does have a converter built in that lets you convert from HD-SDI to HDMI which would be helpful to test those monitors as well.
