Munk Pack Protein Cookie, Double Dark Chocolate, 1 Cookie, 2.96 Ounce

Normally I'm describing things as "These are pretty good considering they're gluten free" or "They taste better than other protein bars". For these, I can just say: They taste good. (That's pretty much my review, the rest is details.) Yes, they're a great protein source, and gluten free, and vegan (hadn't even noticed that before), and okay they're not the very best cookies I've ever eaten in my life. But: They taste good. For the taste alone, I would choose these over most gluten-free cookies, and they're way, way better than any other GF protein cookie or bar I've found. I would eat these just for the taste (after I ran out of WOW cookies). I eat the oatmeal raisin ones almost every morning. I also like the coconut ones, which are very coconutty. I only buy them here if I need them in a hurry - you can get a much better price elsewhere, usually $7 for 4 cookies. (Yes they're the exact same cookies, I wondered too the first time.) So I'd originally ordered this awhile back and at first our experience didn't go well. There was something very, very off about the way the product tasted. I contacted Munk pack, they didn't argue, just got me a refund and offered to send me a replacement anyway, because apparently their product isn't supposed to taste like what I'd experienced. I thought this was pretty decent of them so I accepted. They sent TWO boxes to replace the one I'd gotten refunded for! And they sent a cute little button with a chipmunk on it (I collect buttons. :D ) So I got my family together and my husband and I tried the replacement cookie first. YES - THIS was what I had been hoping it would taste like! We gave one of our kids a taste too, and she loved it! We've now found our non-GMO, high-protein, non-sucralose/splenda, non-yucky ingredients, good-tasting travel snack and we're very pleased. Thanks, Munk Pack! You were very decent and attentive with the customer service, and yes, your product is very tasty!

So, I got the Oatmeal Raisin Spice flavor and I bought these as a "healthy quick bite" for my spouse. I have been trying to slowly transition him to healthier snack alternatives and I liked this product because even if he wouldn't eat them, I knew they met my dietary restrictions AND nutrient goals so if he didn't eat them I could. Well, it ended up he didn't like them so much (he is more accustomed to cheap, low nutrient processed foods which are high in sugars and lack nutrition). Personally, I thought they were fantastic. I can tell they're oat and peanut butter based based on the density and chewiness, which was kind of a bonus for me. I love the heavy taste of cloves and spices, wish they were a lil stronger in cinnamon flavor though. Overall, despite the fact that they didn't serve my purpose (as quick food for my spouse), I'm very satisfied with the purchase and can't wait to try other flavors. Great quick snack/"meal" while I'm studying or on the go.

I first encountered these cookies in the Runner's World subscription box and was surprised at how good the Double Dark Chocolate flavor tasted. I knew the product was a good one when I could eat one for breakfast and it would hold me over until lunch at 1 pm. I specifically ordered this box because I was going to a convention and didn't know if I would find filling, healthy food to eat there. I ate one while standing in line and it was an excellent meal replacement. These will definitely be my go-to backpack snack for hikes and other long events where food may be scarce.

These tasted terrible. They were exceedingly dry, chalky in taste, & not sweetened or favored well at all. Very bland. Disappointing. And I couldn’t send the box back & couldn’t give them away, either. I was hoping they would be good because my favorite gluten-free, high protein soft cookie, (“My Cookie’s” Snickerdoodle) is so pricey that I can’t get them as often as I’d like.

I love the oatmeal squeeze packets and really had high hopes for these. But at 300 calories apiece, they are oddly not filling. And it's starchy and cookie-like, which means I find myself eating them because they're cookies and not saving them for the trail. In the end I'm sticking with the Munk Pack squeezie packs.

Delicious! Nice soft texture, excellent rich flavor, good ingredients and nutrient value. Not the cheapest, but I feel the quality is far better than similar protein cookies. And the taste and texture are easily the best of any I've had.

These are by far the yummiest oatmeal raisin cookies that are healthy ... that I’ve ever had ... they are very thick and you will for sure need a drink .. they have a brownie texture... a dryer type of brownie.... I have also tried the double chocolate chip and they are really good too!!! Have not tried other flavors
