Bad news is that the cleanout plug hasn't been removed in decades. Even with a 6 foot cheater pipe, no joy. So I put a 1/4" pilot in the plug and then used a eight dollar 2" Holesaw to drill out the plug threads. It was a Slow trudge but got it done leaving a perfect 2" hole at the end of cast iron pipe. The Mechanical Plug fit perfectly. Couldn't have worked better. It's well made and makes a very solid seal.
