Arrived on time. Works very well and bought it at a good price.

I really can’t say enough good things about this product and I don’t know how I’ve gone so many years without a pipe cutter. This thing makes cutting through PVC pipe like a knife through butter. I had seen home improvement shows where somebody used one and I finally decide to order one and this particular one has been outstanding.! The price is beyond fair for what you get in my opinion and assuming it holds up it is just a fantastic product.

Tended to partially collapse 1/2-inch PVC but had no problem inserting cut ends into fittings. Super-fast cutting beats traditional pipe / tubing cutter for ease of use. Highly recommend for DIY projects. I don't think I'd recommend for commercial heavy use, but it does appear to be sturdy enough to hold up to normal home use. For the price, it can't be beat. Very satisfied I decided to get it instead of one of the more expensive ones. Made short work of the cutting I had to do for the project I was working on.

Purchased during the winter. Stumbled on them looking for something else. The ones I have from one of the Big Box Stores was starting to fail & was becoming a pain to use. These were the second pair for the Big Box place. Tried two different pairs for different makers. Both acted the same. Always thought they were all kind of the same. No they are not. These are 1,000 times better than what the Big Box store sells. Ratchet works well. I keep trying to use two hands and pull them open after a cut, to get ready for the next cut. NOT NEEDED with these. With one hand they reset to the open position. Even covered with mud. The only thing I can say bad about these is the lock on the bottom is flimsy and will not last long. But I'm so used to having to pry the old ones apart, it is not an issue to me. I also do not have "little ones" to worry about either.

This PVC cutter was just what I needed to cut several pieces of 1" 40 thickness PVC to make dog hurdles. It was easy to use and did the job. I don't have much hand strength but I was easily able to cut all of the pieces of PVC that I needed. The cuts were clean and accurate. I don't know how long the cutter will last, but with my approximately 75 cutsI already got my $10 worth out of it!

These cutters work but are not as solid as another well known brand. My original pair broke after many years and I decided to try these, mostly due to price. My major complaint is that the blades do not meet as precisely as my other cutter and I end-up with cuts that are not completely flush. The larger the pipe, the worse the cut. I also find them harder to use, they require more grip strength. If you just make a few cuts in 1/2 inch PVC, these will work. If you use them frequently on larger diameters I’d go with a more expensive brand.

This is a very easy to use pipe cutter. I have used it to cut 1/2 in schedule 40 pipe, 1/2 in PVC pipe and 5/8 in id garden hose. The ratcheting mechanism is the reason why this is so easy to use. Only requires one hand to cut pipe. I recommend this for everyone but especially for someone with weak hands.

The product works perfectly. Just not sure what its life will be as the quality of the materials is not the best. That being said at the price I have no complaints
