THE best bags for your comics! The only bag I will use. Get Silver/Regular bags if you collect Silver, Bronze and Copper ages, perfect fit!! These Mylar bags protect comic books for over 50 years of storage.

So first, yes, they're expensive in comparison, but they're worth it in the long run. Anyone who has ever sat down to rebag and board their books because the poly ones became cloudy and somehow covered in dust from the bags breaking down knows it's a pain. Some may find it part of the fun but once you pay to do it several times, these make more sense. To start, they're absolutely crystal clear. If you hold up the same comic in a thick poly bag next to one of these, you will NEVER want to look at poly again. The colors pop, everything looks bright and like a presentation piece. They're also more rigid, so along with a board they add just an extra bit of stiffness, which is particularly great for corners. Not infallible but you get the idea. You need to crease the fold, but once you do it's forever creased, and depending on preference you can even get away without taping these. I switched to using these over poly for everything from signed books and sketches, to just the current runs of things. If you're into the tens of thousands of books it might not be worth it but if you're a casual collector and reader with only a few boxes it's worth it.

One silver age bag can hold several modern age comics, which makes a stiff enough package that backing boards aren't needed. For long-term storage that brings the per-comic cost of Mylar down to near that of "normal" bags, yet they are far better for your books. Take it from a guy whose pipes leaked behind the closet where his books were stored - bags are a good idea, and Mylar only needs to be changed every few decades. My 30yr old mylars look new, but my regular bags that old have turned GREEN and sometimes look like there's oil inside the bag. Cheap bags are for good for stores and short term (under 5yr) storage. Once you bag with mylar you don't have to worry about them or rebag before you're retired and can -actually- re-read your collection! These thin mylar bags were of very good quality, the vendor's shipping was fast, and multi-bagging makes Mylar an affordable alternative.

This product is great to preserve and protect your comics from the elements. I have been using it for years and it's great!

Yes, these bags are a bit pricey, but oh so worth it! I have bought around 3 to 4 hundred of them so far and they really protect the comics well and make the comics look so much better than the regular comic bags.

Good quality bags, Expensive but worth the money at roughly 50p max per Mylar. That's if you get sent the correct bags! Had a issue where the incorrect size was sent.

Wer wie ich eher Gelegenheitssammler ist und nicht allzuviele Comics verschiedener Perioden schützen möchte, kann diese Kombination auch ruhigen Gewissens für Current Size Hefte nutzen. Auch diese sind gut und sicher darin aufgehoben. Die Bags fühlen sich verglichen mit den üblichen Bags sehr fest und hochwertig an. Die Schweißnaht ist sehr fest und übersteht auch leichte Gewalt. Gegen Eindringen von Staub gibt es an der Öffnung eine überstehende Lasche, die nach dem Eintüten umgeklappt und einem Streifen Tesafilm fixiert werden kann (nicht selbstklebend). Wie sich das Material nach einigen Jahren verhält, wird sich zeigen.

I was in high debate on whether to use E.Gerber or BCW, as all my friends use E.Gerber mylites. I decided to use BCW as it was the cheaper option for me, so I decided to try it. Great quality, makes my comics pop. Even makes my older comics present better than they actually are. Eventually, I will probably switch to this for my whole collection! The only issue I found, not a major one, was I ordered 2 sleeve packages at the same time and they came at different times on different days, but what can you do.
