Primary Phonics: Workbook 3

I have been teaching for 20 years. I used the Primary Phonics series with my son. I use it any time I have a student who is unable to read after having the district approved reading series...whatever that may be. I like the way the children can be successful. I also like the way it makes the children think. I especially like that after a little bit of explanation, a child can do the work independently. This is great when I do groups.

Loved how it kept reviewing known phonics words . With phonics not being taught in schools this series has helped my 5 yr old grandson master attempting to sound out any word ! Thanks

In 30 years of using these EPS materials I have never seen any other system as good as this one. These Phonics workbooks and readers start with the simplest cvc combinations and each new concept introduced builds on the those already mastered. Workbook 3 and the third set of 20 little readers give the child practice with blends and consonant digraphs.

My daughter attends Montessori and this is the book she is working through in her Pre-K class. It gives her confidence to continue wanting to learn.

This is an excellent workbook...one of the best for remedial learning. It is the 3rd one of the basic phonics booklets in a series of 6. On most pages, there is a list of words in a column with pictures portrayed. A word is seen, said and written. On a few of the pages, there are sentences pertaining to the words. Word patterns include beginning blend words, ending blend words and some irregular vowel patterns. This series is usually considered for 1st graders.

Very useful when reading the Primary phonics books.

Good Book. My 5 year old son enjoyed the exercises in the book. He is going through them pretty fast though...This book is part of their curriculum in his Montessori school.

Love this product. I am a teacher and was looking for the workbook to supplement classroom supplies. This workbook arrived on time.
