The add says "Shipped from US, 3-5 Days" It took over five weeks to arrive in the United States and there was no tracking number at all. It is shipped from China not from the US unless there is a city there called "US". I felt this was misleading. The motor does not exhaust through the prop but from the top exhaust pipe (see my finger in the photo) The handle is labeled backwards, high is low, and low is high. However the choke IS labeled correctly. This motor arrived with gear oil in the lower unit, I heard that some did not. I came with two props and three prop sheer pins. I put non-detergent SAE 30 weight motor oil in it and quality ethanol free gasoline in the tank. After priming it started on the second or third pull and purrs like a kitten. I removed the prop and test ran it in water for over 45 minutes at 1/4 throttle so far. Every start was instant within two pulls. The motor does have a centrifugal clutch that seems to work well. The motor is completely air cooled, no use of water for cooling. However, for the sake of the lower unit, I will continue break-in with it submerged. So far, I have happy with the motor baring the misleading descriptions. While at 1/4 throttle it is not overly loud, and I like the 4 stroke as it does not smoke much and used less fuel. However, I doubt the HP rating.
