I picked up the NETGEAR 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet switch to go with my NETGEAR Orbi 370 Series, and it ended up being one of those “why didn’t I do this sooner” upgrades. The Orbi already delivers strong, reliable WiFi throughout the house, but adding the switch takes things up a notch—especially for anything that benefits from a wired connection. My TV, gaming console, and work setup all run smoother with zero hiccups. No buffering, no random drops, just steady performance. The switch itself is as simple as it gets. No setup, no headache—just plug everything in and it works instantly. It’s small, quiet, and does exactly what it’s supposed to without drawing attention to itself. Together with the Orbi system, it creates a really balanced setup: fast WiFi everywhere plus rock-solid wired connections where it matters. If you’re already using Orbi and have multiple devices, adding this switch is an easy win.

This is a very fast {1G, all ports} unmanaged switch. It seems of good quality as most of Netgear items are. One bit of information, after plugging every Ethernet wire in and then applying power, as the manual suggests, I was having stability issues that my Router's tech support solved which was to unplug every Ethernet wire and reinsert them 1 at a time, with power on, and the stability was fully restored. It's working flawlessly. It's worth the premium price for the performance it offers and the brand recognition.

This switch is very straightforward and easy to use. Just plug it into a power outlet, connect your Ethernet cables, and it works immediately with no setup required. It also has indicator lights for each port, which makes it easy to see that everything is connected and working properly. The build quality feels solid, and for the price, this is a great value. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Works perfect and price was good. I just needed a basic wired hub for 3 computers to run Ethernet through..plugged it in ran an Ethernet cable from each PC to the hub plugged in my Ethernet cable from my router and it was that easy. Connection was automatic and download and upload speedsis the same as a direct connection to my router. Has worked perfect for my needs with zero issues.

Well worth the price. Easy installation (plug n play) and works well. Upload speed dropped down a bit (from 950 to 790-800), but the difference is barely noticable. All devices had no issues with connectivity.

Simple unmanaged switch. Everything worked when plugged in, can't ask for more. Speeds are good. Great for Mac's, PC's, soundboard connections, wifi access points, etc.

Used to expand router from a cable TV outfit. Worked right out the box, without and connection problems. No complaints. When used to connect a laptop to the ethernet network, seemed quick, visibly speeding up operations.

I am not an expert. I was looking for a switch with good performance and the ability to put the ports to sleep when there's no traffic. I read some reviews on specialized websites and trusted the brand. The price/quality ratio is good with a nice level of finish and a metal casing. I have 2 at home, one of which I have been using for several years. It's ready to use, no configuration to assign, it doesn’t heat up, and I have never had a single problem with it. An excellent product at a good price.

Easy to Hook up and use. This makes extending your connections so simple. I chose this because it was a brand name with a high quality reputation.
