I've owned a few coffee presses over the years, and this is now my favorite. The size is perfect for two big mugs of coffee, with enough extra that you don't need to pour the last drops and risk getting grounds in your mug. The shape and styling is vintage and modern at the same time. It feels sturdy and well made, and the handle is comfortable and does not get hot to touch. The coffee stays hot long enough. And of course unbreakable stainless steel tops glass any day.

My decades old french press broke. It was glass with a plastic handle. Worked fine for years and years. When I started looking for a new one I was amazed at all the different styles, shapes and material choices. I have an Aeropress with a stainless pot and have to be careful not to touch the metal even with the neoprene cozy on it. I had to be careful with the old french press for the same reason. Hot water in glass is hot! I found insulated ones that were not my style. Everything with straight handles and cylindrical pots. I like classic curves and when I saw this press I put it on my list. I couldn't find anything better on other shopping sites so I bought it. It is so well designed and a beautiful coffee pot. I have it on my desk right now and have been smiling while I drink hot coffee. It is nice enough to put on the table for guests. Being stainless steel is a bonus because I am sure it will last and not break while washing it like the old french press. The lid turns so you can pour or turn to keep the coffee warm in the press. It also made wonderful smooth coffee that I am enjoying while writing this. Pouring from it is so nice. I love the feel of the curved handle and it is so easy to pour compared to my old one. Why did I wait so long to buy it???? This French Press is gorgeous, well crafted, and produces amazingly smooth coffee that stays warm for an extended period of time. Update 7 months later: I’m still loving this press! I use it twice a day and it still works as good as the first day I bought it! No rust, no broken handles, no gritty grounds (use coarse grounds made for French press) - don’t let negative nellies keep you from the best press you’re ever going to own. Coffee stays so warm for over an hour. It’s still beautiful even though it gets used alllll the time. I have given 3 away as gifts so far. This is worth every dime! Best Amazon purchase I have ever made and I’ve made a lot! ——- So nice! It’s beautiful to leave out and it makes great coffee! No dripping down the side as you pour. It holds enough for about 2 1/2 of large coffee cups. Finally a press I don’t have to worry about breaking while washing. I’m ordering more for gifts! This is so much better of an experience than a k-cup.

I gave this 4 stars BECAUSE the box says 6 cups, the Amazon page says 32oz (which in my calculation, as well as most of those who can do math is 4 cups - but that was plenty for me so I went for it) but when I made my coffee the first time, I put 4 scoops of coffee in for 4 cups then added my hot water (which I microwaved in a 4 cup Pyrex - this is just for the trial run mind you) and started pouring … only 3 cups of water fit! Soooo - love the look, made great coffee (which is the main point), kept it hot (and I took 3 hours to drink it) and cleaned easily, but if you expect 6 “cups” and are ok with a 4oz “cup” OR if you are ok with 2 great 12oz mugs of coffee then you are all set and this is the one for you. BUT If you want actual 32oz +, buy the larger FP. But ultimately this is a great little press and works for what I needed and looks pretty while doing so… so it’s a keeper for me!

I appreciated the letter I received from the company before the product arrived. Tips on how to use the french press. I have used a few before, and I have made the right choice to buy. I like fresh gratted coffee, and steeping with the VECO French press brings out the natural flavors that I have missed. The quality is exceptional. No flimsy handles that will break easily. Made with high grade stainless steel. Brewing for this size is 3 to 4 cups, depending on the size of coffee cup you are using. This company have larger sizes. Defenetly a good buy. Easy to use and the taste is great.

I bought this to reduce the amount of plastic in my food. This pot is all metal, beautifully designed and built. I love my coffee and prefer not to mess with it. However, this French press is a game changer! I didn’t expect my coffee to taste ssssoooo much better than coffee made in my my drip coffee maker. I’ll tell you, I am extremely impressed that this little coffee pot has elevated my morning coffee to a new level! My coffee tastes better, no more plastics, easy to clean and keeps the coffee hot! Can’t go wrong with this purchase!!!

This is the best cafetiere I've ever had. It keeps the coffee hot for an hour or so. The capacity is about 3 cups. You can rotate the top so that heat does not escape via the spout. It pours well with no drips. People have commented on how nice it looks without being asked for an opinion. You get a spare metal filter element with it. It came well packaged and well before the stated date. I tend to use it now instead of my coffee filter machine as it's transportable (between rooms) the coffee tastes just as good and stays hot for almost as long. The plunger works smoothly if you push it down gently and coffee does not squirt out if you don't over fill it. In my view there's nothing to dislike and although it costs a bit more the price is reasonable when you see the quality of this product
