Nylon Training Dog Leash for Small Medium Large Dogs, 15ft 20ft 30ft 50ft Long Puppy Lead for Obedience Recall Training, Camping (20ft, Black)

I bought the rainbow-colored, 15 foot leash for my German Shorthaired Pointer to give her some room to range when we walk along the beaches of Hood Canal. I clip it onto my belt with a large carabiner and it works great in wide open spaces. Managing the extra length (compared to a 6' leash) so we don't trip or get tangled is not any harder than it is with a short leash. With 15', she can get farther into the water without me also getting wet as she tries to catch ducks (which is impossible but she does not give up on trying). I expect the clasp, which works great, will eventually corrode from sea water but the leash was so inexpensive I won't mind replacing it later. The cord is not as wide as I am used to but if it had been wider it would be a lot heavier to manage so I am adjusting to it.

I purchased the 15 ft length in July 2025 and have used it consistently for recall training and controlled backyard freedom. This is a true long line in terms of construction. The nylon is thick and durable without being excessively rigid. After months of regular use, there is no fraying, stitching separation, or hardware weakness. I use it with a strong, high-energy dog who can hit the end of the line at full speed, and the leash has held up without stretching or compromising structure. The length is appropriate for distance recall work while still allowing quick control when needed. It feeds out smoothly and does not excessively tangle when handled correctly. This is best suited for training sessions, supervised outdoor freedom, or reinforcing recall skills. It is not a lightweight casual-walk leash — it’s built for structured use. Overall, a practical and durable training tool that performs as expected.

Use these for my dog on our walks so he can have a little more freedom without being off leash as he has poor recall. Very strong and last a while through different terrains and environments, with a 60lb dog pulling at times. Very lightweight

I underestimated that 20 ft is really long! I found that my dog pulls less if we use a leash longer than 6ft. It gives us room for her to walk left and right on the sidewalk and there is less concern with me tripping over her when we use a longer leash. The nylon burns when my dog tries to pull, so I wish there was a better handle. Maybe if it was padded or made of another material it would be perfect. I use this to tether her to objects sometimes when I'm working in the yard and it looks sturdy.

Used it as soon as it arrived and we both loved it. Seems durable and of some decent quality.

We absolutely love the long nylon training leash — especially during winter when our dog needs easy let-outs for fresh air and quick outdoor time. The 20 ft length gives just the right amount of freedom while still keeping control, and it’s strong and durable in cold weather. Great for training, walks, or outdoor play!

This leash seems well made and the colours are vibrant and fun. But it has a VERY strong chemical smell! I have been trying a few things to get rid of the smell, because I do like it, but so far I haven't been able to even reduce the smell. I store it outside and will keep trying other suggested remedies to get rid of the smell but at this point, I'm not feeling very optimistic.
