They work great for 3m Primer 94, so they should work well for paints that are solvent based.
Love these. I use them to hold 3M Primer 94 (https://amzn.to/2k5emj2) so we can control exactly how much is applied when wrapping a vehicle with vinyl (a little of Primer 94 goes a long, long way). They have a glass roller bead inside them to aid in keeping whatever you inside mixed well (similar to a spray paint can shaker ball) and heavy solid felt tips that are spring actuated (if I recall, one of these is a dauber style, so no spring, just a round felt end.

very good markers they even gave two free extra markers but there was no metal tip roller sadly
