Good value for money chin rest that fits my 4/4 violin.

It’s a good quality item but I sent it back as it didn’t suit my style of playing - I hold the fiddle a bit lower and forward on the collarbone compared to the standard / classical position (I play old time American) which means the curvature of the rest doesn’t quite work for me. Other than that it is well made and should otherwise be comfortable so would recommend if it suits the way you would hold the fiddle..

Great quality for the price. Easily adjustable and feels secure on the violin. The foam padding is a little firm and thin compared to a more expensive rest, but is still comfortable to use. The mute also works well.

The chin rest slides out most of the times. But it's a good violin to be fair

Terrible product. I was convinced by the reviews this was a great bargain - it's not. The shoulder rest is awful - it slips constantly and it doesn't hold the angle. I had to keep adjusting it every 5 minutes. Ended up getting myself a proper rest. The mute is actually not so bad. It does the job, but it's very plastic-y and cheaply made (you can see some plastic bits that weren't properly cut). All in all, you'd be better off investing your money on proper products.

It’s all made of plastic. Unlike our previous one which was mix of plastic, wood and rubber. Very comfortable to use I must say. The only problem I want to highlight is the toxic smell of the plastic. Hopefully it will fade away after time.
