Browning so many choices works great. Love the top racks as well. Slot size is very good. Love the shiny chrome appears to be sturdy! It's a keeper!

This is a great toaster. And a great price. In addition to toasting evenly, can accommodate thick bread and bagels. And the high lift lever is a nice touch so you don't have to use a finger or fork to get smaller slices out. The warmer is a nice feature too; easier than using the microwave. All in all, very pleased!

This was my fourth toaster to test. This one's the keeper, only because it toasts evenly and consistently. PROS: Looks ok if you like mirror-finish, L and R sides work independently, toast time dial is stepless, and numbers 0-7 are fairly easy to read. For most types of toasting, I had to set it to 6 out of 7 setting. Every setting lower allows fine tuning of the desired done-ness. Who uses 7 steps for a dial? I want to go to 11! :-p Wish it were brushed SS, not mirror SS which shows every nuance of handling. I have toasted Bagels, Raisin Bread, GF Bread, Sourdough, Dave's Multigrain, Trader Joe's Organic Super Bread (insert Heart here), and also have warmed a croissant and a scone. Ta-Da! It does all fairly evenly. Bagel setting works but I prefer toasting both sides for crunch. CSides stay fairly cool and cord is generous and comes out the rear if set up properly. Now comes the CON: This toaster's crumb tray does not catch a lot of the crumbs because the toasting slot vents allow a portion of crumbs past the two too-narrow crumb drawers. The drawers should be designed to cover the whole base, not just beneath the slots. Expect to clean counter tops if tidy perfection is your jam.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was skeptical of this toaster since it isn’t a “brand name” in the US, but I decided to give it a try anyways. It is the best toaster I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned several! My last was a kitchenaid that couldn’t toast evenly. Also have had Cuisinart that was disappointing and inconsistent. This toaster has several features that I like - the light up button when it’s toasting (which you simply press to eject) and the handles that you push up to make the toast come up higher (so that you don’t risk burning your fingers) are my two favorites. The knobs are smooth-turning (rather than set to pre-recorded numbers), so you can fine-tune the toast time with precision. Toasting is even and this works well for bagels. Solid construction (doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all like some other toasters, such as some black and deckers). I’ve been using it for about 4 months now with no problems at all. Hopefully this will be long lasting.

I am so glad I purchased this 4 slot toaster. It came very well insulated in the package which I love to see. It also has additional pastry warmers that go right on top of the toaster and my croissants get nice and warm and toasty without using the oven. It has a cancel button which I really like. The lever pops up my bagels higher just like described so my family doesn’t have to burn their fingers trying to pull out of the slots. It’s sleek, contemporary and has a professionally designed finish. The breads and bagels toast perfectly and you get to choose what level which is clearly described. Definitely a great value for the money. The crumb slot is secure and doesn’t move but easily slides out and doesn’t create a mess like other toasters do. Great toaster!

I decided to try this toaster for one reason only! The wire rack above the toaster slots. I like to warm a ceramic plate to put my toast on while buttering and sitting down to eat. The small ceramic plate keeps the bottom slice warm while I start on the first piece. This rack holds the plate above the slots and gets quite warm to the point you need a potholder. The toast comes out perfect with a medium brown color. I normally use about a 3 setting and that is fine on this toaster. The only issue I had with it is that the knob control for the setting is a shiny chrome and it's hard to see the numbers (marks?). Nothing a magnifying glass and a Sharpie can't fix! I'm the only one using it so I just have to mark the 3 on both dials. I usually don't count off for something like this since I can make it easily work. Customized to my specifications! At some point in the future, I'm sure this appliance will go to toaster heaven with the others I've had over the years. It can go BUT those wire gadgets will be staying with me. I have pliers and I know how to use them so I am sure they will fit the next one if this model is not available.

This toaster has everything we were looking for in a basic, nothing fancy, 4 slice toaster. It gives you choices of how to toast (bagel, and different levels of toasting) and the added bonus of extra attachments to warm up pastries and such really helped sell this product for me. It toasts really well and seemed to work well when using the warming attachments. I found this on the “Deal of the day” and was happy to find what I was looking for at a good price. However, it seems really lightweight compared to my other toaster, the stainless steel is so shiny it is impossible to read the dials and choices offered. If they printed the writing and the numerals for level of toasting so they would be more visible it would be so much easier to use. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing appliance that will sit out on your counter then this is what you are looking for. Mine gets put away and may possibly end up being given away because of how difficult it is to read.

I was just looking for a simple, inexpensive toaster and bought this one based on the reviews. It's working great after 14 months. Toasts reliably with my preferred setting for either bread or English muffins (unlike our old toaster that this is replacing). My only complaint is that the darkness setting dial could be easier to read: it's a simple silver notch in a silver dial, but some black paint would go a long way to making it easier to see.
