## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this etch/engrave onto slate coasters etc.?**
A: I haven't tried slate but I’d be very sceptical about doing it because slate can be uneven and there’s only up to 2mil clearance allowed under rollers, ie you could damage your machine, but that’s just my opinion, do check with others though, hope it helps

**Q: Can this engraving tool be used with the Cricut Explore Air 2?**
A: No only the Maker.

The engraving tip is probably the most awaited tool I've ever had. My favourite out of all the new tools. It worked better than I could have imagined and looked amazing on the acrylic I purchased. It's very sharp and does really nice crisp engraved lines. My next task is to see if it does well with a grid style effect in an attempt to engrave a "coloured in" imaged.
