Wonderful!
Had to replace my needle, then realized to my horror I needed a new turntable mat! Anyhow, this one did the trick! I think it's not as thick as my old mat, but my records now sound less muddy, so it's a good thing.

Where the rubber meets the vinyl!
Back in 2015 I happened to pawn a nice Technics sld 2:02 direct drive turntable at an estate sale for 20 bucks. The cartridge and the head shell were mangled and the dust cover was ruin and the rubber mat looked pretty shoddy. With a little TLC I got up things up and running in very little time. First of all.. I made sure that the motor was working and it was although a little sluggish but I knew what to do. A drop or two of light silicone motor oil and we were good to go. I already had the fantastic audio file sure m97xe phone cartridge on hand mounted in an SME type head shell that I purchased here for about 17 bucks. It is still available on this website for that price which is phenomenal! Also the tonearm counterweight inside threads were a little bit rough so I thoroughly cleaned him with an alcoholic wipe and the counterweight went on as expected. After cleaning the pitch control with some WD-40 electronic spray that I purchased here also for a reasonable price I manage to get the speed of the turntable pretty sturdy and the strobe working properly. Now all I needed was to address the beat up original rubber mat. Lo and behold this product presented itself to me LOL and I'm glad it did! The seller described it as suitable for a Technics turntable and indeed it is! At least I think so. That is reasonable price it really cannot be beat and only requires an occasional cleaning with a wipe of sorts to maintain its beauty and aesthetically pleasing quality. It grabs the record rather nicely and minimizes static and don't listen to that guy who suggests using these rubber mats as Frisbees LOL. There is always one of those nose up in the air snobs that think they're the ultimate audio files that would have you believe that. In my 74 years of life I've been around the block a few times with audio equipment so I know what I'm doing. This is supposed to be a fun hobby and indeed it can be with minimal cost to you if you use your head. Remember you ultimately are the judge of a given piece of equipments performance. I'd say for the price this rubber mat performs rather well it's intended use. The prices quite reasonable and the shipping and the packaging was more than adequate and quite fast. Happy listening...PJSII GOD BLESS YOU!

Does MOST of What I Expected
I have a ProJect Debut Carbon Eco which (ridiculously) shipped to me with a thin, felt platter topper atop the all metal core platter. In winter, that felt cover turns into a static magnet, ruining the listening quality of vinyl. But enough about ProJect's cheapness on a supposed higher-quality turntable. I bought this replacement to do a few things. First, to upgrade the stability of the platter, second to reduce static. Well... it is a solid piece of rubber (although the multi-depth rings on the platter are a bit more than odd - my guess they're either cost savings via less rubber used or for appearance sake). At any rate, it fits my platter well and I have no problem removing albums from atop it, as others have reported in reviews. I *did* expect better static control comparing the rubber of this product to the simple felt from ProJect. And MAYBE I hear a reduction - maybe - but not enough for me to give it an enthusiastic four stars. This rubber platter topper is definitely an upgrade from what ProJect shipped me from the factory - it looks good, is dense and thick enough to be of good quality, but dust didn't do enough for me in static reduction to be four stars. Overall, I'd purchase it again, especially given the silly thin, static-magnet felt that ProJect used.

Decent replacement for my Denon turntable
Recently resurrected my Denon turntable whose mat had gone missing somehow. This replaced it well enough.

Mat. Rubber. Life changing.
It's definitely a turntable mat. And yes, it is also rubber. Static is improved.

Getting back into Vinyl
record player slipmat, clean, universal fit for turntables or vinyl record players. Plays my new records just fine on a pre-used Yamaha P-500

Couldn't really beat it for the price.
Could not beat it for the price. Of course this is made from synthetic rubber or silicone but unless you want to spend like 60 bucks for a turntable platter mat, then it's going to be made out of silicone or synthetic rubber. I can't complain. The wait is good, and it feels pretty good.
