NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Micro Brow Pencil, Precise Eyebrow Pencil - Ash Brown

I have been using the NYX Professional Makeup Micro Eyebrow Pencil for well over 10 years, and after trying countless brow products from both drugstore and high end brands, this is still the one I keep coming back to. Nothing else gives me the same combination of precision, natural results, staying power, and affordability. The ultra fine tip is honestly what makes this pencil stand out from the rest. It creates tiny hair like strokes so easily, which makes filling sparse areas look natural instead of harsh or blocky. I can shape, define, and fill in my brows without them looking overdone. It is very beginner friendly while still being good enough for someone who is particular about their brows. One of the biggest reasons I stay loyal to this pencil is the longevity. Once applied, it truly lasts all day. I have worn it through long workdays, heat, humidity, and busy days running around, and my brows still look intact by the end of the day. It does not smear, fade unevenly, or disappear halfway through the day like many others I have tried. I also appreciate the shade range because it is much easier to find a natural match. The colors look realistic and not overly warm or fake looking. Plus, the retractable design is convenient and easy to use without constantly sharpening a pencil. For the price, this product performs better than many expensive brow pencils I have purchased over the years. After a decade of use, it has earned permanent status in my makeup bag. Love this eyebrow pencil! The gray is perfect and blends well with my brows which are still mostly black but beginning now to get gray. The very fine point makes it easy to fill in the outside line (beyond the arch) where it has gotten very thin. The result is extremely natural looking.

I don't think I'll be going back to Anastasia 😩 so smooth, slim and fine, and way cheaper. Def gets the job done. I got Ash Brown to match my lighter ash brown hair. Perfect fit 🥰

I picked up this brow pencil when I ran out of my usual department store one, and it works really well. The lines are fine and the color is uniform, though it goes on a little dry. I like the spoolie on the end — it makes brushing my brows easy. I’ve been using it for a few months, and it lasts all day but washes off easily when I’m ready to remove makeup. Overall, a solid, affordable alternative that’s worth the price. This brow pencil is super easy to use and gives really natural-looking definition without being too harsh. The tip is fine enough to draw hair-like strokes, and it lasts well throughout the day. Honestly, the quality feels just as good as the high-end ones like CT, but at a much better price.

The color is PERFECT for me. I usually use the L'Oreal Paris Makeup Brow Stylist Definer Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil in either Dark Brunette or Brunette. The quality of this is similar, and the color is actually a much better match than those other two colors (they were too dark, which I didn't realize until trying this one). Cheaper, and better! My new daily brow tool.

Last all day, easy to apply and gives a great natural look.

The three star rating is not about the quality of the brow pencil. It fills in nicely and gives a defined stroke for a more realistic finished brow. My issue is with the Chocolate color. It is much redder than it appears online. I use Anastasia Chocolate shade and it is brown forward with a little red undertone. The NYC is very red - almost auburn. I had to use a brown tint NYC brow pen to try to balance it out, but the red still pulled through. I will probably buy it in a pure brown shade and toss this one. Worth a try, just beware that colors may not be as they appear.

Wonderful product for those with dark hair and dark eyebrows. It doesn't overpower the brows or make it look drawn on. Use a light hand with feathered strokes to create the brows you want to achieve.
