If your current one is flush then this sits nicely on it. If not, it won’t be flush. **Q: Where are the 2 screw holes on the front the converter for the 2 securing screws pass through & screwed into the back box screw lugs?** A: There will be two holes on your new converter that correspond with the holes on your original socket - you just can’t see them in their illustrations online because there are little plastic plugs that fit over the holes the same colour as the socket. All you have to be careful about is to check which end of the converter (if you are converting from a single socket to a triple socket, for example) the holes are located as it could mean it would position you converter too far to the left or right of your original socket to allow you space to fit it (for example, if the original socket is very near the end of your wall). If your original socket has plenty of space around it then you have no worries. The only difficulty is that the terminals are not in the same layout as your original 1-gang socket. On a normal ring-main outlet the wires are quite bulky, probably cut short, and are not easily persuaded to move. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem ok, so far *by A***R on 24 August 2020* I fitted a few very similar ones, around the house, about 10 years ago. (Not sure if the same brand) They were always a but 'clunky' with plugs often very hard to plug in and switches poor quality. Eventually, most of them failed with plugs impossible to insert, switches completely failed in off mode, screw hole covers always falling out and eventually they blow up (tripping the breaker) when trying to get plugs in. (Seems the internal plastic parts are brittle and start to break and then the metal parts are free to move around and short itself out) One by one, I had to reinstall the original single sockets. So I bought one of these to see it they have improved. It does seem a bit more refined. Plugs can be inserted easily into both sockets, the screw hole covers have been improved and the switches seem a little better although still feel cheap. So will see how it goes but hopefully will buy more at a later date. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made. Good vfm *by I***G on 23 February 2024* Very well made. Very easy installation. Simple instructions included. The only trouble you might have is the length of cables "to play with" after removing the single socket.
