Perfect fit for my 2015 6GT
Mazda states the transmission fluid is a lifetime fill that it doesn’t need changed. I disagree, they put a drain plug on the trans pan and a dipstick. My car 103,000 commuter miles, the fluid looked OK but the filter and pan bottom were definitely dirty. Unlike a lot of transmission filters, this one is not a screen, it’s an actual element. Mine was due to be changed for sure. I used Ravenol RZ and red RTV for the pan seal. This was the easiest transmission service I’ve ever done!
