SK200 Nexia BR200 Home Starter Kit

I had originally quit using nexia due to the router sucking so bad and constantly disconnecting. This one has made the system work so much better and we are now very satisfied with the system.

I've been in nexia user for over 10 years, and really loved the system. Once nexia was sold to Trane, it went downhill. I've been troubleshooting issues with automations, replacing Bridges, long wait times with customer service, system working when it wants to. Several years back I spent 2 hours troubleshooting an issue, and found out that it was actually a nexia issue on their end. I recently purchased the new bridge, hoping that would alleviate my issues, and even read some bad reviews of equipment not working with the updated bridge. Once installed several locks would not communicate, automations would not work properly. Arming the system for away mode when I leave my residence, only to find out that the associated automation did not work leaving the air conditioner to run at 70° all day while no one was there, system was not armed which would left the cameras un powered etc. After 5 months of trying to get everything straight with no resolution, I canceled my service and stop the $10 a month donation to nexia. Tomorrow I will be on the hunt for a new Z-Wave system. Buyer beware. PJ

Reasons for a 1 star. 1. needs a paid monthly subscription to really be usefull 2. Needs ethernet cable connected only then you can connect to wifi 3. Most devices noadays have a qr code that you can get the mac address - no this one. Label was slightly smudged so took a bit of guessing to get correct mac address. Unfortunately my house came with a Trane thermostat (don't buy one) that requires this zwave bridge.

Controls the lock I needed and also linked up to Alexia so I can use either voice or my phone to lock and unlock door. The switch also can be controlled by Alexia or phone.

Easy to setup. Had no issues connecting it to my home network. Works great.
