These little Christmas sized light bulbs are very bright for only a .5 watt output. It looks like a bright little candle light. Under the shade it is dimmer but it will light up the bathroom adequately at full night from an over head light with a night light socket. I only needed one but bought 5 as spares due to the price of the box set. Good value for the price and it's an LED so I estimated that it should last for 5 to 8 years (50,000 hours) due to its use of 10 to 12 minutes per day and low .5 watt output.

I am usualy fine with leaving a thumbs up or 5 stars for a product I like. This product compels me to say why! I am using them in a window candelabra. I was disatisfied with the larger 300 lumen CA-10 style that blinds the eyes with the curtains pulled. I thought 30~50 lumens would be about right. So I go to the big box store and pick up two 4 packs by G.E. (5000k). They would not reach into the contact of the socket as they (the G.E. bulbs) have a very "blunt" contact. These contacts are elongated even as their big brother CA-10's. The light is perfect. My only gripe is on me, as I inadvertently purchased the 'clears' (though they will be fine). I intended to select the amber's. At 2200K it would be ever so slightly whiter than a flame.

They are just ever so slightly too bright for window type Christmas candles but I used them anyway. Also, you cannot use these with light sensing auto off type of candles, they will flash light a strobe light. If you have regular plug in candles or need them for a nightlight they are perfect. Gave them 4 stars due to the flickering problem.

I needed light bulbs for a night light in a candle. I chose LED bulbs with a small base to replace a regular bulb. It has to last long and produce little or no heat. Bingo, that's hat I got.

These small led light bulbs are easy to install and are bright! Just love them and will purchase more when needed.
