Early on in our lives together, my wife (now 65) and I (now 66) saw the wisdom of diligently maintaining our car. For the past couple decades now we’ve been applying that same wisdom to our increasingly cranky flesh and blood bodies. It was in this fine “tradition”, that we purchased this air compression leg massager. Summary — Good stuff: After several weeks of use and testing, I can say we are both very satisfied customers. As I will now describe in greater detail, this is a very relaxing, useful and em-bodying tool we’ve now added to our wellness tool bag. What it Does: It works by inflating air into the massager’s leg sleeves, gripping and releasing the parts of the leg, in the same way a blood pressure sleeve inflates and deflates to grip and then release one’s arm. Massaging both legs simultaneously: Put on both sets of massage sleeves (left and right) and choose your massage “program.” Whatever the kind of massage you choose will be applied to both legs at the same time. Massaging one leg. Put on the massage sleeves for one leg (the sleeves are clearly labeled “left” and “right” and choose your massage program. Choosing a Program: The Control for the massager has essentially two kinds of programs: Choose C (Combined Mode) - to massage multiple parts of your leg or the entire leg Choose S (Separate Mode) - to massage a particular part of the leg — T (Thigh), C (Calf) or F (Foot) Intensity: Whatever mode you choose, the default intensity setting is “2”. You can decrease the setting to 1 or increase it to 4 by pressing the minus (-) and plus (+) intensity button as needed. Turning the Massager On and Off: The On/Off button is found at the top of the controller. Once on and you’ve chosen your program, the massager will remain on until you use the On/Off button to turn it off or after 20 minutes of use at which time, it will power itself off. Pros: Whether you want to use this massager to enhance mindful body scans, to bring oxygen and healing to sore legs or to simply relax, this easy to use tool will get the job done. Cons: The product out of the box, with its multiple sleeves and cables, can appear a little scary. Fear not though, getting properly sleeved up is much simpler than it first appears. It is in fact a breeze as long as you first step into the lower leg sleeve, and then orient the thigh sleeve according to the up and down labels before fastening it. This is a great find for us and at a very fair price!!

I am using my massager while typing this review, which is the biggest benefit of this machine in my opinion. I'm a 5'3" female runner. I run daily in the mornings 3-7miles and then sit at a desk for 4-8 hours a day. I find that unless I conscientiously get up to move around and stretch I get extremely tight and stiff and my blood pools at my feet by end of day. So far I have used it for a few days multiple times a day and even after the first night I noticed freshness in my legs on my subsequent run that I don't usually have. I love the simplicity of the leg massager and like wearing it while sitting working. To me it feels like a blood pressure cuff except specifically designed for my thighs, calves, and feet. It fits my legs just fine. My husband is a thin 5'9" and it also fits him. A previous reviewer mentioned the cable to the thigh was too short but that's not a problem because you can just pull back a plastic strap/adjuster piece to easily pull apart the thigh cable further from the 3-cable cord. The design is quiet (again, think noise level of the blood pressure machine). It alternates inflating/deflating between thigh, calves, feet. The idea is that it'll move the blood down and up back to the heart, thereby increasing circulation and oxygen/healing to those areas. My husband's friend swears by a different $1,000.00 leg compression massager for recovery after playing basketball but no way am I willing to pay that much yet. I am thinking I will also be bringing this in my luggage for long flights. It folds up to about the size of a large loaf of bread. It will be worth it to reduce the swelling in my legs, esp since I can have it do its work while I am doing other things. Well worth it for a relatively low price.

Year later update: still going strong! Again I do not share my device and the product should be strapped loose enough to maneuver out of without unfastening so my Velcro is still intact because I am not disturbing it each use. Have only used once as it’s new but I feel like this will be a quality product for a while. It is in fact compression so a little reading and you won’t be upset that it’s not kneading your legs. I did notice my legs felt much better after use and I’m hopeful the daily use will benefit me more. The instructions are pretty straightforward. I didn’t find the noise bothersome and I’m easily irked lol. For those worried about the Velcro- it will lose its grip eventually, we all know how Velcro works, so what I suggest is to not share your device- that way you can slip the entire thing off without needing to open and shut it every use- this will extend the life of the Velcro. Once my session ended that’s what I did and will be able to slip right back in the next go around. When you share the device you will have to adjust each use to compensate the different user sizes.

This leg massager is very easy to use. Having the velcro is a good idea to fit different body part sizes accordingly. My legs and thighs normally feels stiff. By using this massager for a few weeks, I am feeling promising results, improved circulation and muscle relaxation to name a few. I am surprised as to the highest level of compression it can do. My mother has a similar compression device that cost her insurance about $4000. It does a little bit more but this leg massager is easier to setup and use. They are basically doing the same thing anyway, compression. The Renpho device also fits better and isn't itchy like the other one which I find funny since it costs so much less. It is very easy to use. The remote control has the guides so I don't have to look and flip through the pages of the manual all the time. It is is within reach so I don't have to move around that much if I want to change the settings at any given time. Buttons are very simple so anyone can operate. Putting it on myself is a little bit challenging but I got the hang of it after a few times. Velcro catches some lint and hairstrands but that is normal especially on a daily use.

My personal trainer recommended I get a scale from Renpho at the beginning of January 2020, so I did. I have been suffering so much pain, especially in the heels and calves of my legs, as well as some edema in my lower legs since November of last year. Made it difficult to impossible to workout standing up. My daughter-in-law had suggested I speak with my doctor about getting something like this to help give me some relief. So when I saw that Renpho also made leg massagers like what my daughter-in-law said I needed, I knew I had to get one. I'm so glad I did! I've had my leg massager for 2 weeks now and find it fairly easy to use once you get all the parts where they need to go on each of your legs. I've not tried the different ways to customize the settings yet, because I personally like the default setting routine the way it is; except for one thing and that is I lowered the intensity to Level 1. The default intensity Level is set at 2. I found the Level 2 intensity to be a little too much on the insides of my lower legs. Maybe eventually with consistent use I will be able to increase the intensity as the massager relaxes and takes away the pain in my heels and tight calves. I've also noticed after a session using the leg massager, a noticeable reduction of the edema I have mostly in my lower left leg, but do have in both. I am 5'10" and if I'm not sitting for several hours in front of a computer, I'm standing on my feet on concrete for my job. It is really nice and soothing using this leg massager to get my circulation going, reducing my edema and relieving me of the pain. It is something I look forward to using each day before going to bed so I can go to sleep easier and faster, not having to deal with the pain keeping me up. It's pretty quiet when running, easy to use, feels great, relieves my pain! It's wonderful!

This leg massager seems intimidating but it’s actually really easy to use! Some reviews complain about the length and I can see why since it’s made for shorter to medium height people. I am a 34 year old, 5’3, female of 128 pounds so this leg massager fits me really well. I’ve been dealing with leg pain for the past few weeks and my doctors have no idea what’s going on so I’m waiting to see a specialist next week. My symptoms are similar to Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) but I don’t have a proper diagnosis. In the meantime, I purchased this leg massager and it is sooo great! It provides temporary relief for a few hours at a time. I sleep with it on and push start in the middle of the night for 15 minutes if my legs start to bother me. It might sound tiresome or annoying to some people, but I wasn’t getting ANY sleep before I got this leg massager so I think this thing works great! It helps a lot with circulation so your legs might feel tingly during the 15 minute massage but that’s normal and it goes away once the 15 minutes are up. TIP #1: Use this with your legs elevated as other reviewers have mentioned as well. It works better this way for leg pain! TIP #2: The default setting is for level 2–but start at level 1 and then work your way up as you get used to it . I started with level 1 but by day five, I was using the level 3 setting. TIP #3: For leg pain, use it for 30-45 minutes at a time. I also don’t wear pants when I do this so it can really compress on my legs. Test it for yourself and see if it works. Some people might say that it gets hot but I don’t think so and I consider myself to have thin skin and to be a “hotbox” type of person because I hate the heat. Some ppl complain about the cords....but for what it does...I don’t care! It’s amazing! The sound is as loud as a fan so it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had this device for 5 days and I love it! I also see an acupuncturist which helps even more with my leg pain. I’m so grateful for this leg massager because I am able to sleep again! Five stars!

Before anything else: This product has made a very positive difference in my legs. Being wheelchair-bound, fluids accumulate & cause swelling in my legs, ankles & feet. Quite often I get asked if I'm diabetic because of it. Not so much anymore. I use the compression "boots" every day or 2 to force the fluids from my legs & feet, which also is like receiving a nice massage. Although I haven't used them in bed, I imagine you could do so lying down as long as you don't kink or block the air tubes. The pros: * Easy to use right out of the box * Compressor is very good (more than adequate) * Easy to understand its different modes/sequences * Boots are easy to match & put on; made of tough material * Various modes & sequences to target your whole legs, or part(s) of them The cons: * No carrying bag for storage when not in use * The lettering on the compressor is quite small & difficult to read * The BIG one - after about 4 months of regular use, the velcro on the feet began to pop loose shortly after starting a sequence. I tried decreasing the pressure but that didn't help for very long. I was able to use a couple of bands to hold them closed - but shortly afterward the leg & thigh parts began to pop loose too. I don't have bands to keep these parts closed, yet - but the thing is, I shouldn't have to. At a $100 price this product should be able to last more than 5 or 6 months! Otherwise it's a very good product that fulfills it purpose excellently - except for the velcro fastenings. Maybe it's just this pair, but next time I hope to find something more durable even if it costs me a little extra (but not too much). * a caveat for where I said "easy to use" - I can't put them on by myself because of my condition; but my wife & caretaker put them on me & take them off with little apparent effort. It sure beats trying to wear compression socks/stockings or the hit-or-miss of wrapping my legs & feet with "Ace" pressure bandages. The socks/stockings were expensive and difficult to size & use; if not done correctly the bandages often caused gradual excruciating pain(s) shortly after wrapping. No such difficulty or pain/discomfort in using this product.

Pro: Stopped a persistent discomfort in my upper calf/knee area, and feels good on areas that don't have discomforts Con: The length of the hoses require some juggling to get everything arranged so I can hold the controller in my hand I am 62-years old, and am in good to very good health. A couple weeks ago, I had some discomfort in the rear of my left upper calf and behind that knee. Nothing I would call pain; more like an ache. I took an Aleve pill and it cleared it up for 20-hours or so, but then the ache returned. Since I sit a LOT every day, I thought I'd give the RENPHO Leg Massager a try. After the first use just before I went to bed, the ache was lessened, but I still felt it. In the morning, the discomfort was gone. I have used it each evening since then, and not only are my legs ache-free, but it also makes my feet feel better. My wife has also used it twice so far, and while she is not as big a fan as I am, she continues to use it each night as well. My one gripe is that the hoses seem to be just long enough for people under 6-feet. I'm 6-ft 1-in, and after I align all the hoses correctly, I can hold the controller in my hand. But that does take a few minutes to sort all that out. For taller people, they might need to leave the controller on the floor between their feet. Which leads to another concern - it would be nice if there was a beep or sound that let one know when the massage session had ended. When it's over, the lights go off on the controller. But if you don't have that on your lap or in your hand, you don't see that easily. In summary, I give it 4.5 stars. It does the job, and I don't have to consider pain medication. If RENPHO ever makes a "Big and Tall" version with longer hoses and a controller that beeps when the session is done, I will buy that one for sure.

Daha etkilerini görmedim bir kere kullandım ama dışarıda gittiğim seanslardaki gibi performansı var. Çok beğendim ve faydalı olacağını düşünüyorum. Eğer lenf drenaj cihazına girdiyseniz ürün aynı onun gibi sıkıp, bırakma ile çalışıyor. Bu kadar güçlü olmasını beklemiyordum. Cihazı aynı zamanda günlük yorgunlukların giderilmesi için de kullanıyorlarmış. Varisi olanları kullanmasını önermiyorlar. Yani bu tarz cihazlarla ilgili bilginiz varsa bu üründen memnun kalırsınız.
