Only had this light for 2 years and it already stopped working. Doesn't come on at all.

So far so good, had a counterfeit $100 bill and this light caught it. Very easy to use and quick, it’s almost so easy we check bills all the way down to $5.00z

I've got one at my shop and it works better than those pens and little flashlights that you use on the back of any USA currency. Needed to buy one more for the tradeshow season. These little counterfeit detectors will work in your car too, so if you ever wondered if your money wasn't legit, this is the best tool to have. I recommend this product because it works and works well. Very accurate and easy to use. And you get a great product value for your money than many of the other expensive name-brand counterfeit detectors that do the same thing.

This unit worked very well. The 2 LED lights in the underside of the top lit up the currency you were looking at very well. But when done, I put it back in the box. This meant disconnecting the power cord, which connects with that older style small USB plug that is sort of wedge shaped. This type used to be on my first cell phones, and that type connection is just NOT made for plugging and unplugging many times. It became looser and looser over time, and I had to tape it at an angle so it would make a connection and stay on. Finally something inside broke. It is out of warrantee so I bought a different brand and model that had 2 UV tubes, which looked like 6" long florescent lights, but were UV. They are so weak you can hardly see anything on the currency! But it IS corded, so at least that feature is better than this one. I suppose if you left this plugged in all the time, and it just sat on your shelf or table, and did not get moved around a lot, then it would probably be fine. Since I was so disappointed with the new one, I might be forced to get another one of these, and just not put it in and out of the box.

Easy to use and effective

Terrible product, bought this for a business I run and it has failed twice. Was able to get the first one replaced nmas it broke quickly. Now I'm stuck with something that doesn't work. Buyers beware.
