UPDATE: 1yr 9 mnthsI'm bumping up from 4 to 5 stars because it still works perfectly fine and has never broken/malfunctioned. Honestly, I expected to be handing it over to a repair shop after 6 months so I'm very surprised. It still runs Sims3 + Seasons with no problem or crashes too (Which I've played heavily throughout the pandemic). Outside of that, there's only a few other programs, pictures and docs leaving me with 17.8 GB free. Do with that what you wish. Overall, it feels amazing having got a reliable product for cheap that fits my simple needs.***********It's been about 2 months since I've ordered this and I'm pleasently satisfied. I strongly suggest that you remove it from S Mode. When it was activated Microsoft edge was SLOW! sloooww! It made me think the laptop was crap but once I left s mode and installed Chrome, everything worked perfectly.PROS:• Can run Sims 3 (it runs sims3 pretty well, the graphics aren't bad and there hasn't been any crashes. It doesn't get hot. I can play for about 3hrs before the battery nearly dies)• Very lightweight•The white is so sleek and pretty (peep my stickers)CONS:•The display isn't very vivid, tbh my eyes feel a bit strained sometimes.• Battery life (personally it lasts as long as my free time does so for me, it's not a Huge con)I was lucky to have gotten this as a lightning deal. Please note that that after installing sims , I'm almost out of internal storage. I hadn't downloaded anything else at the time so idk if it would handle it with alot of other stuff stored as well.

The CPU on this thing is pretty slow, so applications take quite a while to load, and web browsing lags a lot. Part of that depends on your network, but it's just not very good for web browsing, especially for the price.If you were to install a lightweight linux distro instead of windows 10, I bet it would be snappier.That said, I really like the size of the laptop and the feel of it, and yet it manages to be pretty lightweight. It'shonestly the best balance of not too small or thin, and yet still lightweight. So that's the main reason I'm keeping it, but for the price, I expected better CPU performance.I expect some

I came back to the item in my order history to try to return this item and decided to go ahead and write a review while I was here. I've bought many computers over the years and have been in the IT world for a long time. I've always bought mid to upper level computers. But it was always my understanding that computers of this caliber should be just fine for your average user who does nothing but Facebook games and email. OH, how wrong I was. This thing takes forever to do ANYTHING. Open a folder of pictures and wait like 2 full minutes just for the thumbnails to load. Can't even scroll down a Facebook feed and expect images to load in a timely fashion.The pros? I guess it's nice looking and feels solid enough while still being relatively lightweight. Haven't really even been able to use it enough to evaluate the battery life, but it seems ok.

As with many we purchased two of this laptop for our twin 3rd graders / now 4th graders due to Covid. I can say without pause or hesitation that this computer is the most useless and underpowered piece of junk I have ever owned. A raspberry pi, an old raspberry pi, has more compute speed. It takes 3 to five minutes for office apps to load (word, put, excel, outlook). And the explorer load speed is equally abysmal. Before anyone chalks this up to user error, know that we have two other legitimate computers on the same network (ie this isn't a network thing) and I work in the sciences (ie this isn't a pile of malware thing).For the last eight months our kids have been using a gaming laptop and old work laptop as using a 2.5k computer and my wife's old computer ended up being better. So beware, extremely underpowered, both of them.

Battery life is as expected, it is very lightweight and most of all the price was excellent.

I bought this item for a friend of mine as a gift. Is it possible that the protection plan be in his name.

Was hell to get it to let me download Google Chrome. I had to delete disable and uninstall all the security software it came preinstalled with. What a pain in the ass. Also runs incredibly slow.

Unfortunately, this computer just isnt it. 4GB RAM for basic web browsing should be enough but page load times are incredibly slow, (20 sec+) and there just is not a way to speed this up. The RAM is onboarded and does not have any additional ports. If you cannot afford more computer this may suffice but if you can buy anything with 8GB+ you'll be saving yourself a headache.

I am VERY disappointed in the speed of this machine. It TAKES FOREVER to change pages and to load anything. scrolling thru facebook is dreadfully slow, searching pages takes forever, and I am not a gamer, so I wasn't expecting much on that aspect, but even trying to play candy crush is pathetic. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED and will probably never buy this product again

Was advertised as a quad core, is in fact a dual core. Very disappointed.

Works wonderfully. Easy to understand, just love it. So far so good.

I bought this July 2019. Have just gone to use /charge it for the first time and I find the charger is not suitable for Australia? Can you please send me one that is?!
