My grandchildren have done similar fuse projects but never dinosaur kinds!How great that there are some examples that kids can get ideas from, and the kids will start creating their own projects and their own creatures. My granddaughter loved it (it was her birthday present). She is nine, and it wasn't too "baby" or too hard for her. Siblings got involved, when she let them, and her creations were easy for her mom to supervise and help with.Even though I received this at a discount, it did not affect my review of this product. ### ⭐ Nice in Theory, Headache in Practice *by A***E on August 15, 2014* Please don't waste your money. Placing the rods and beads is tedious and takes forever because they are designed to fit between the prongs on the board, not on them. You have to be VERY precise and delicate. Once you conquer that step, when you attempt to iron it, the rods are MUCH higher than the beads, which means that the designs do not melt evenly. The rods fuse together and stick to the wax paper, but the beads have yet to be melted by the iron and remain loose. One slightly uneven circular pass with the iron and the entire project pops off the base, resulting in beads going everywhere and your time being wasted. (Not to mention a sad child whose project is ruined.)
