Includes DC Headset Bag Review: Pleased with the purchase...no feedback on the A320 - I had a pair of DC Pro's previously which worked great in the Turboprop, but not so much in either jet I've flown. There was an immense amount of feedback. So, I started using Telex ANRs, but I've never had any luck with them lasting more than 2 years before they just randomly stop working. So, I went back and bought a newer version of the DC Pros. They work great in the A320. No feedback (like my original pro's). We have A320's with the airbus plug and with the conventional 2-prong plug. I really haven't noticed any issue when I use my 2-Prong adapter on these. I wear reading glasses and the smaller ear cup makes it so easy to put on and take off my glasses; not an issue at all. As one guy said, I'm not thrilled about having to change the batteries every so often, but if these are like my old DC Pro's, they should last quite a while. Overall I'm pleased. They are a bit more expensive, but I'm betting they will last. I bought an Energizer charger that came with 4 batteries for $12 and have been using them for over a year. A set lasts a few weeks easy and I’m a high line guy. **Q: Does the ANR work without the batteries i.e powered by the 5 pin plug?** A: The headset and the ANR are powered by the 5 pin plug via aircraft power, but it does have a battery box so that the headset / bluetooth can operate even when it is not connected to the panel **Q: Hi Guys, does this product comes with a headset storage bag? thnx** A: Yes! The David Clark Headset Carry Bag is included with the PRO-X2. **Q: Does the XLR connector have a lock/release button, or does it simply stay in via friction?** A: The airbus has the locking mechanism that works with the headset plug. I got the 2-plug adapter from Amazon for the newer planes AA has/is getting and that has the locking mechanism on it to connect to the headset. One of the ear buds stopped working 2-3 years into it, but I usually left a cup off one side anyways so it didn’t bother me. I considered buying another set of those, but thought I would give the Bluetooth capable Pro-X2 a shot as I’m on the Bus now and like the idea of throwing on a podcast on some of the longer flights (jumpseating only of course..). Love the sound and build quality.
