The interior of the boots are comfortable and don't have any weird sharp edges or materials or misplaced seams - the first time I put them on was for walking around town all day, and they were perfectly comfortable with zero rubs or issues. The soles are slightly stiffer than I would have expected, but it gives them a more hardy feel that balances with the nice thick leather and secure fit. They don't feel like "slip-ons" when you're wearing them, which was a concern I had before purchasing them, the fit is very secure and the interior is nicely formed. Ever since I was a kid I have held Ariat in pretty high regard as far as quality and predictability goes, these boots are no exception - they are very well made and designed, and they seem like an incredible value for your dollar.As far as looks I have to agree with another review I read - the leather has slightly more "luster" in the sales photos than it does in person - in other words the leather looks a tiny bit more work-boot and a little less fashion-boot than the sales photos might have you believe, but the leather is still thick, high quality stuff, and finished well. I think the chelsea style and the nicely proportioned height and shape still make for a very cool stylish boot. I think they will hold up to wear and get even better looking with time (assuming you're not mixing concrete with them.)I'm happy every time I pull these on, that's a pretty sweet feeling for a boot I ordered online. And one last thing - the crease on the toe of the boot from breaking them in...it's turning out to be the nice kind that is smooth and round, not just a wrinkled line going across like you sometimes find with breaking in a cheap pair of boots with subpar leather. That's a small detail I notice and am happy to report is working out perfectly.Update 11/18/19As much as I love these boots, they have definitely stretched a bit since new. I would say a little stretch is normal for anything leather, but I have to be honest here, these have stretched a little more than most other boots I’ve had.
