So fast and easy!
Absolutely love this! It really saves time on straightening your hair which is a big reason that I didn’t straighten my hair much before. 30 minutes to straightening my hair is a pain. 10 minutes and my hair was pretty much straight. The only part it wasn’t great at was straightening the ends, but I sort of solved that problem by using it on the underside of my hair. My natural hair is slightly wavy and medium thick. If you have really wavy/curly and/or thick hair, you might need to still use a regular straightener afterwards but probably just for touch ups. It heats up fast, I think in like 30 seconds. Another great thing is you can start from the scalp without getting burned like you would a regular flat iron. I would definitely recommend this product, both because of the price, how fast it is, and that it works great! I would recommend brushing your hair really well beforehand so the brush doesn’t snag on a tangled spot.

Actually works -- I can't believe it.
The brush itself: It used less heat than my Chi, my hair wasn't hot at ALL after running it through, the product was warm but not hot, and the tips are not hot. You can touch your scalp with it and brush from the roots. It is way better quality than I expected. It has a good weight to it and feels durable. I assumed this would be similar to the length of time and effort of using a straightener, but I was super wrong. It is way easier to just run this through your hair a couple times and call it done than trying to section out and move around hair that is super hot. It also took me literally less than half the time than it would with my straightener. My experience: I have thick, wild hair. It doesn't really have curls, but straight up big kinks throughout for some reason. It's so thick I don't even bother trying to blow dry it, and when I wake up it is a huge mess. I had hoped to find a heated brush that would just take some of the craziness out of my morning 'do.. I just wanted to be able to leave the house without having to go through the entire hair straightening process every single day. Well, I spent about 5 minutes (actually five minutes) brushing through my hair with this and it was pretty freaking straight. I was really surprised -- it was straighter than I typically get it when I'm rushing with my Chi. I spent about 5 more minutes brushing through some sections and it is just as straight as it is with my Chi. I didn't really section it out much, maybe just quartered my hair and brushed it like that and once over the top when I was finished and that was it. Love it. Would buy again. Would recommend to everyone ever.

Straightener brush on 4C hair (super coily)
Pros: - I like the size of the brush. My hair is VERRRY coily so I have to do small sections anyway and it's easy to hold - It comes with a glove, which is super helpful to protect the hand that's holding your hair from accidentally getting burnt, since it comes pretty close to the brush - It also comes with 2 clips to help clip away your hair, which is neat - The packaging is minimal and it comes with a drawstring bag for storage - It also comes with a small brush to help clean out your hair from the brush - I only had to do max 4 passes on my hair to get the desired result. Pro tip: if you have coily hair, start from the ends of your hair, pass it slowly and work your way up - It goes up to 450 degrees and it has a digital display and the temp is easy to adjust - although it does get warm, the back of the brush doesn't heat up as much - there's no wait time, it heats up almost immediately - with all the extra items that come with it, the price is hard to beat Cons: - the brush is pretty hot so I was not comfortable bringing it close to my scalp and so I end up with textured roots - this thing gets hot FAST. Use it in a well ventilated room, there will be smoke, and lots of it (HOWEVER, this was due to the brush heating up, it did not burn my hair at all). I do understand that it's probably the downside of trying to maintain high temps on a large exposed surface area - the heat dissipates quickly so it overcompensates - it has a weird smell when it's hot, although to be fair, I'm not sure if it's the brush or my heat protectant that was making it smell weird. Almost like burnt popcorn...? - the control buttons are on the handle, which makes it VERY easy to accidentally change the temperature when holding it - the directions say to use it on dry hair, which is annoying if I want to straighten my hair after I wash it. My hair needs HOURS to dry completely All in all I'm happy with my purchase. It's an easy way to stretch my hair pretty quickly and that i can easily do myself

Great for travel
It’s great for quick straightening. I brush my hair before hand and go a little slow on some pieces but it works and I have very thick, fine hair. I usually go to the highest setting and it’s not pin straight but it smoothes and gets rid of frizz

Works! Will no longer have to pay for expensive Keratin Treatments
This straightening brush worked great on my hair! I don’t have super curly hair but it’s curly enough that I really have to work at blow drying it straight to get the frizz out. I paid twice for 2 keratin treatments but they are so expensive and I am not very good with a straight iron. This brush saved my life - I just brush through my hair and it’s straight. My whole family noticed as well. I bought a few as Christmas gifts as well. I will say, my 13 year old daughter didn’t like it as much. I thought it got her hair straight enough but she said an iron worked better. This is much faster then a straight iron and easy to use. I guess that is the difference between a 51 year old doing her hair and a 13 year old. When you are 13 - you have a lot more time to mess with your hair! For us moms - this is a lifesaver - makes your hair look good and it’s FAST.

Better Than Expected
I purchased this for my twins. They are 13 and are athletes. Styling their hair is a low priority for them. They hate blow drying their hair, flat irons scare them, and most of time I am lucky they even brush their hair. One has thick coarse hair and the other has thick but fine hair if that makes any sense. Both have wavy hair that will frizz. This straightener was more than I could have hoped for. It heats up quickly. They are able to use it on their own without burning themselves. The ends of the brush do not get hot. The few times we have used it, it has done a good job of straightening those untamely waves. I do recommend doing your hair in sections (it did come with a few clips to help you do this) if you are looking for a completely straight style. But if all you are going for is taming some unruly hair that will be straight in the end with a few passes, then this is the product for you. I wish I had found this and tried it before I bought my expensive, fancy flat iron. I could see us using this product on the go to, to freshen up our hair. My only complaint is that it is a little heavy, but other than that, I would definitely recommend giving this product a try. I also have to say, because I was skeptical about this product and brand (only because I had never bought them before) I immediately registered our brush for the lifetime warranty. They immediately emailed me back confirming my registration and checked to see how we liked the product. That is an A+ in my book.

Works on black hair
I’m mixed, my hair is long, curly and and thick at the roots. When my hair is SUPER straight (salon) it goes down my back, past my bra strap. When curly (I just let it dry however it wants) it SHRINKS up to just above my shoulders. This product gets my hair blown dry straight, not silky straight but it IS pretty straight, even gets my edges!!!!! I go back in with my flat iron to curl my ends for a finished look. Product didn’t burn me but it does get hot so do USE the glove provided in the box. I started taking small sections of hair in the back and ended with medium sections in the middle but small sections in the front. I passed the straightener through my hair several times. Remember to use a heat protectant with this product - the prongs are all individually heated so you have heat running through your hair, not like a flat iron where it’s kind of sandwiched in so every time you run the product through your hair the brush is going to run through a different section of that parted hair so that means more of your hair will be exposed to heat as opposed to just heating the same sandwiched area as a flat iron would. Definitely use a heat protectant. It normally takes me a little over an hour to straighten my hair, using this straightening brush it took me about 40 minutes. So it definitely was an improvement on how long it takes me to do my hair. And frankly I like it because I was able to straighten my hair not super super straight like a flat iron. I like the fact that it still allowed me to have a little body in my hair.
