Rubie's Harry Potter costumes

The small is a good fit for my 40" kid - maybe a smidge big on him. Quality is good enough to hold up through Halloween and playtime. It's not as flimsy as I thought it'd be, so the price is pretty justified (and if you buy the robe, you don't need to buy anything else except glasses to make it a realistic costume). I missed the part in reviews about how it has "Potter" on it in big letters, so my kid who was going to be "Quidditch Ron" had to change to "Quidditch Harry."

I really like the quality of this robe. We got it for book character day and it was a hit. I wish it came with some accessories, but it's still worth the money.

I got this for my son's 5th bday and he absolutely LOVES it. The sleeves are a tad long, but he doesn't care one bit. The fabric seems like decent quality and my son loves all the "authentic" features: the lace-up front, the Potter name and number on the back, the hood. He loves running around the house with this thing on while riding on the Firebolt broom i got him as well. The only issue we had was with the lace that ties up the front. Immediately after giving it to him both ends of the lace started fraying pretty badly. But when we got home, i cut off the frayed portions and re-melted the ends with a lighter. No problems since then.

I bought this for my 8-year-old Harry Potter-obsessed son. I think I did the measurements wrong, because the costume that came was much smaller than I expected. The front of the package said "For 3-4 years." If you're looking for a costume for that age range, then this is perfect. If you need it for an older child then order the medium for large size.I called the company and they made getting a larger size very easy. I am so thrilled with the quality of the costume for the price. The fabric is lightweight and the decals are stickers, not embroidery, but even with that it looks very nice. It is something he will have and will be able to play with for a long time.

This was the best gift I purchased for Christmas. I purchased this for my 5 year old grand-nephew. We have all of us a ball watching him transform into Harry. My niece has posted so many photos of him in his Harry Potter outfit. I purchased the glasses and the broom too from Amazon all very reasonable. We were shocked at the excellent quality of the garment and it fit him great. If you want to give your lilttle Harry Potter a gift give him this for any occasion or just for fun.

This is not the color in the picture. It is closer to red than maroon. If you want something more authentic buy somewhere else.

So, so cute! This is nicely made, great color. Just adorable on my little Harry Potter. I bought the Rubies Harry Potter/Hermione school robe for my kids as well, and, while we like both, this one is my favorite. I bought a small, the smallest available size, for my average size almost 3 year old. It's big and drapey but not huge. He can wear it this year and probably for a good while. I am pleased with this purchase.

Arrived in good time but the fabric is completely different to the picture it's a bright red velvet so not what I was expecting
