Amazing! Cannot believe the power!
First things first, this amplifier is tiny but it packs a hell of a punch. With it being no larger than a medium sized hand, you'd never think it'd be able to handle a subwoofer with as little as 2ohms without distorting or overheating. It surely can though. I received this amplifier as a gift, to be used with my passive bose subwoofer. It provides more than enough power at half volume and allows me to adjust the crossover which is perfect. The amplifiers frequency response is also very impressive, it is able to get produce very low bass without distorting or clipping. I also like the fact this can be used as a crossover with powered subwoofers too. I would definately recommend this amplifier. Utterly amazing for the price, it's compact, has great sound quality and looks stylish. Perfect for anyone looking to buy an amp to use with a powerful passive sub or adjust the crossover on an active sub, that's lacking crossover frequency controls.

How is this so powerful
I'm super impressed with this little, (it's tiny), power amplifier. It's loud. I listen to techno so I can't say for sure how good the quality is, (my speakers are a bit basic too), but I can't really hear any problems. It's the same as my indoor HiFi - this is in the garage. And it's fine. Loud.. And sooo small.

Cut off sensitivity is ridiculously high - Do not buy.
This was a gift bought for me to power 2x JBL GT-5 subs. I am achieving 2 ohms which should give me 300w.... apparently. I can't even turn the volume on the amplifier to a third of the way without the amplifier turning itself off. There are also zero light indicators to say that this has happened. Just to note, the gain switches on the back are turned off (which still boosts apparently) and the frequency is turned right down, in Sub mode. I have to turn the amp off, turn the volume down, then turn it back on for the sound to work. This seems like a common problem as there are very similar reviews on the american amazon reviews of this product. Do not buy this. Looks like just another lying audio manufacturer!

Very impressed.
Absolutely blown away by this little amp. I'm using it to run a 1.2kw Eminence 18" sub and it shakes the house to bits.

Well made not as powerful as it claims lasted just over a year
I'm actually quite impressed I'm using it to power a 250w subwoofer Witch it has no problem for just over 12 months with moderate use. Then this morning I turned on the amp to hear a pop the subwoofer input no longer works fortunately this import is the same as the left right audio jack so the device is still usable this does lead me to believe that the quality of this item is not as I first thought and as it is now over a year old I cannot claim for the failure Just as a small point as well it claims to be a 300 watt amplifier but the power supply provided cannot supply 300 Watts of power it's a 32 volt 5 amp power supply volts x amps = watts equalling 160w power supply My advice would be to look for something better but in the class d mono amp world there is little to choose from

I am using this as a mono amp for a sub and it's exceeded my expectations. I've had it more than a year without issues.

This worked great for my older TV. An old 60" Hitachi HD projection that will simply not die. I wanted to add a non-powered sub to fill in the lower end, this works great off the signal output after upping the gain on it. Clean deep base for a 10", good for another 20 years!

Es muy pequeño pero es un monstruo en potencia

I just revived an old and mediocre subwoofer (6-ohm, 120w RMS) that had its original built-in amp fried due to sudden high volume surge. Bought this small unit, G2 Pro, to turn a below average active sub (only with a single LFE input + volume control) into a fabulous passive sub with this G2 Pro functions as its external amp with precise cross-over control & volume to match the pairs of full-range desktop monitors. The sound is so easily balanced and tuned to the room size (12x12x10) which makes the whole thing sounds as if produced by much more expensive setup. Knowing the G2 Pro's real capacity is the key for its successful use. First of, its max power produced is restricted by the provided power supply at 32V5A = 160watts max. As the provided power supply implies, the max current is 5A for the internal circuit and components to operate safely. So, feeding it with a more powerful power supply will only make it run super hot then quickly dies.. may be taking along your other valuables in a house fire (not exaggerated). Use the provided power supply and stay within the following limits, you will enjoy it fully. Driving a 4-ohm sub, S2 Pro puts out 100 watts max (restricted by 5A max) For an 8-ohm sub, it sends out 160 watts max (restricted by 160w power supply) NEVER use any sub lower than 4 ohm since the spec says it does not support and can be dangerous. What I did was the following: 1- replace the original driver, 6-ohm/120 watts RMS, with a modern DVC 8x8 driver (80 watts RMS) wired for 4-ohm impedance 2- Connect the new driver directly to the S2 Pro speaker out L/R 3- drive the new driver with the volume dial at 12 o'clock on the S2 Pro (likely at 50 watts output) 4- Adjust the crossover to match the full range speakers to produce a balanced overall sounds for the room. I have had plenty of low end thumping on my chest and shakes everything in the room even with the volume dial at 12 o'clock. The bass is now much more defined with details, deep, and a lot tighter than the original. Notice that I only need about 50 watts out of its 100 watts max produced by the S2 Pro and also stay way below the driver power handling at 80 watts RMS. I have plenty of headroom to safely go even louder (can't think of why I want it louder unless I move this setup out to a bigger room). The unit is never felt warmer than my hand during its hours of operation. If you need something more powerful or believing that this is a 300-watt amp as advertised then better look else where but don't push the S2 Pro beyond its limits. It can be dangerous and you won't hear its fantastic low end I described above due to distortion. I am not associated with the seller or manufacturer. I bought this on my own and like it a lot. I think the potential users should know this product's real limits from real user in order to make sense out of the purchase. I think the company should put out more useful information. Despite of the above limitations, it is still a bargain for an excellent product to serve my purpose.
