Once installed, the spikes create a physical and effective barrier that pigeons and other similar sized birds can not pass. In addition, the plastic base is UV-stabilised and suitable for external use. - ADJUSTABLE CONTROL - Birdgo spike tips have a unique adjustable feature that allows the user to adjust the length of the spike height to overcome obstacles, including the panel support bars or when proofing around irregular tiles. We also offer 3 available sizes to cover the majority of solar panel heights, including 130mm, 160mm & 210mm - See title for kit size. - EASY TO INSTALL - Our spikes are straightforward to install and require no specialist installation tools. The installer can use the included adhesive or, if preferred, attach them using screws via the holes within the fixing base. After nearly 14 months of pigeon hell finally peace has resumed and I am no longer being woken up by the vermin of the sky at some ungodly hour. Once fitted you can hardly see the installation from the ground. It took about 10 hours to do the roof, but time well spent for the result. The thing to remember is that if you are relying on the glue alone and cannot screw to the panels to put plenty along the top, the bottom and then through the middle ensuring that you have plenty on the ends. Sufficient glue provided and did the entire roof with just 2 containers. It cost me £350 in total to do the 12 panels. Just remember to ensure that the bracket fixing points are covered.
