Review: The most confusing light and alarm to use I’ve ever had - The light is great when it’s on. Bird sounds to accompany the alarm. But try to work out how to set it or turn it off.!! All the buttons are on the bottom so you have to pick it up and turn upside down. No battery back up. So if power goes off it’s a full reset time alarm etc. Instructions aren’t easy to understand. Wouldn’t recommend one.

Although there is the setting for ‘gradual’ light increase, it does not start from darkness, but a red LED. This is no problem and has not woken me up. I do wake up within 5-10minutes of the lamp ‘sunrise’ effect regardless of my alarm. The alarm is great and is SUPER easy to set up/activate! The warm tone light is enough to light a small room and is a perfect bedside lamp.

**Q: Can you listen to the sounds without an alarm?**
A: I you can however, it won’t turn off. 
The sounds only come on with timed  alarms

**Q: How do I reduce the light setting for the time display, there is nothing in the manual**
A: There is a light brightness button on the base of the unit to allow you to dim the clock display or turn it off as you wish

**Q: will this product work as a night light and then brighten in morning to let my 4 yr old know it’s ok to get up and disturb mum and dad?**
A: Absolutely!!!
You can choose the color of the night light.  
In the morning the white Light will gradually, 30 minutes before the alarm, start to light up.   Maybe you can set the yellow light for the morning too (which I would have preferred)  but I never found how to do it. : )

**Q: is it possible to stop the digital clock light at night? I don't want any light at night**
A: Yes it's possible to turn dim or turn off the clock display completely if you want at night time using a button underneath.

This alarm has changed my morning routine. Never found getting up early to start work easy. This alarm is amazing. I now wake up slowly and ready to start the day, without having to keep hitting the snooze button. It has helped me get into a regulated sleep routine and pattern getting up at the same time each day, which I have tried for years with no success. I love waking up to the bird song option. It’s a handy night light too. A lot cheaper than others on the market but well worth a try. I have recommended to lots of friends.
