I just took it off to clean it and realized that it isn't dirty, but the finish has worn off!! The product listing states, "PURE 925 STERLING SILVER — Crafted to stand the test of time. Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver, mixed with alloys to add strength and durability." IF this really was silver, it wouldn't have worn off. If you want this chain to wear occasionally, I'm sure it would be fine.
