High Performance Primer

I've used this before. Good stuff

I purchased this product as a lighter primer for painting some Tyranids from Warhammer. For $6 I couldn’t pass this up! Even though this product is mostly used for spraying metal stuff, it worked perfectly for miniatures. The coating was nice and even. The color was a light grey to later and more easily paint them bone weight. The texture of the primer was very nice and smooth. No bumps or weird textures! I will always trust the Rustoleum brand as precious I purchased a black primer for my Ultramarines! I’ll definitely be re-buying these primers once I run out!

One reason that I generally don't use most of the Rust-Oleum paint line is because of the long tack time between coats and the overall dry time of the paint, some Rust-Oleum paints including some of their other primers takes hours and sometimes even days to fully dry. This is not the case with this 7582838 professional primer, this blend of primer goes on smooth with a consistent spray pattern and I found that I can wet sand or lightly dry sand within a 1/2 hour which in turn allows me to get my topcoats on much quicker! This is a durable primer that goes on nice and smooth, helps to stop rust, not watery so stays in place and dries quick... I highly recommend this one and I will buy it again!

Applies quickly, evenly, and seems to have good application from each angle. Fast dry time.

I always use rust oleum products, they seem to holdup well

I've been using this spray paint for several years now as I have lots of grey wood I'm constantly repairing!

Rustoleum is a great product. It sprays evenly from the can to leave a beautiful, smooth finish.

Love this primer. I restore and repurpose antique wood furniture and. It is a perfect primer to stop the bleed through. Tannins With good prep, it has provided a smooth finish, that is ready for painting.
