Sturdy and comfortable!
I was looking for a very comfy chair that I could use to read on my patio, and I discovered this gem. It seems a bit expensive for an outdoor chair, but the ability to lay down comfortably plus the versatility of being able to take it camping, by the pool, or to the beach quite easily justified the price tag in my mind. It is a bit heavy, so I probably wouldn't bring it anywhere where I'd have to haul it too far, but the weight is pretty manageable for a short jaunt. The chair was already assembled upon delivery, so all I had to do was remove the packaging and unfold the chair. The directions are on the tag underneath the seat part of the chair (which is brilliant, honestly), and setup was quick and easy. The chair itself is very comfortable. I am a curvy 5'9" and fit into this chair with minimal limb overhang. My 6'5" friend fits into this chair with what he considers a tolerable amount of limb overhang. The extra width is nice too. Reclining this chair back turns it into a heavenly experience. It feels like a hammock, but with way more back support. I typically don't go ALL the way back, but even if I do, the movement locks on the chair are sturdy and effective. I really love the slide out table, and I really appreciate that it has a little notch on the front of the chair to connect it to for additional stability. The table has a cup holder that is large enough to hold a 32-40 ounce hydroflask/yeti/thicker cup, which is great. The table is large enough to hold a beverage vessel, a smaller portable speaker, a phone, and a kindle sized device or something slightly larger, like an iPad mini. All in all, this is a fantastic chair. I haven't had it for very long, but it seems well made, and is quite sturdy thus far. I'd love to pick up another if they ever go on sale.

Meet your portable throne
Heading into retirement over the next three weeks, I am preparing my outside creature comforts. Next up on the list was a new patio chair. I wanted something portable and ultra comfortable. A wealth of favorable Amazon reviews brought me to this EVER ADVANCED XL Zero Gravity Chair. In fact, as I write this review, I am now lying in a state of zero gravity and I have to tell you...it's a slice of heaven! First of all, this chair is well constructed. It's a bit heavy to carry around, but when you show up to an outdoor gathering and unfold this baby, you are going to be the envy of everyone there. This chair definitely stands out in the crowd as being something above the norm. Just looking at the chair, you can only imagine how comfortable it is with the thick layer of padding from head to foot. Once you get in the chair, your body just sinks into it, and as you raise it back, you feel as if you are hanging weightlessly in the air. It's a level of luxury that one does not experience from lounge chairs like these. The chair is roomy thanks to its XL size, providing ample width for larger individuals. There is a headrest that slides down a track if you wish to have extra support for your back. Thus far, I am using it for my head, and I must say, it's a great pillow. The fold-out tray and cup holder is a nice bonus, but I admit I have not really used it yet. The chair was pricey but absolutely worth the cost. If you know what a good luxury vehicle feels like, you can translate that experience to this chair. It takes very little time to get lost in it. Easily, you could sleep comfortably in this baby.

Sturdy Well Made Chair (a near clone of the Timber Ridge XXL version)
I bought the "TIMBER RIDGE Zero Gravity polyester Chair Oversized Recliner 350lbs Capacity Patio Lounge Chair Padded Lawn Chair with Headrest XXL" a few years ago and it was starting to get old (it's abused.. it's left in weather, hot sun.. outside all the time). I LOVE this chair and wanted one this comfortable. At the time I was shopping, the same chair was listed on Amazon at $190 and I don't know why (as I write this review, it's now at $150). Shopping around, I foundTHIS chair and it looked pretty much identical to the Timber Ridge one but was about $100. It too is fantastic. The sliding head rest stays in place and you avoid that elastic band that always breaks or loses its tone. The armrests are at the perfect height for comfort and reading a book/phone. Its a tad short I think for my 6' 1" self, but its definitely comfortable enough. I like the side table. It kind of pivots around and under the seat and doesn't rely on the separate side table many of these chairs come with. Those can be wobbly and unsteady in my experience. It's sturdy and well made. Very happy I found it at a good price!

First impressions are fantastic
I've seen some reviews of other similar chairs about people 6 foot and above rubbing the back of their head on the rail so I bought this specific one to prevent that. Im 6'2" took this picture to prove that it does in fact keep my head off the rail with an inch or 2 to spare. Super comfortable easily see spending hours fishing in this and maybe a nap as well. Nice and wide I basically feel nothing but padding plenty of room. 2 cons i notice right away... kind of stiff on the decline if you are lightweight 140 and below it maybe a chore to decline but that may change with time and maybe some oil. And the arm rests are a little painful would definitely recommend buying padding for them. they are very wide spread based on the way the chair was built extra wide. but again if your smaller they maybe way to far apart. Absolutely great chair for the big people though totally love it right away

Very Nice
I got this to use while visiting my daughter in NYC. She lives in a tiny studio apartment and the only places to sit are on her bed or in the floor. I purchased this and had it delivered to her so it was there for me when I arrived. We’d set it up usually in the evening once we were settled in for the night to watch tv and it was exactly what I needed to be comfortable and save my back! I’d just fold it up and put it against the closet door when we were getting in bed, and it was out of the way until needed again. It is very sturdy and provides great support. I used the included pillow for lumbar support. The attached tray was great and came in handy when having coffee/drinks, as well as a good place to put my phone and tv remote. The chair is a bit heavy but since I was only going a few steps with it, it was no big deal. I had a bit of trouble folding it until I realized you need to slide the attached pillow back up to the head position. This was a lifesaver (a back saver!) for me and I’m so thankful Amazon had it and that I was able to have it delivered to her directly! I was there almost a month and I told her she could get rid of it when I left, as it is a bit unsightly in her tiny, very feminine apartment-but so far she’s kept it around. One night she was sick and needed to prop herself up so sleep (sinus problem), and she actually slept in the chair! It has turned out to be a pretty great purchase!

This is a sturdy chair that has worked well for me.
I had a back injury that made sleeping in bed difficult for me. I can sleep fine in a Lazy boy but needed something for traveling. I took an extended trip with this chair. The chair folds up well and did not take up too much room in the car. I slept well in the chair and found it quite sturdy. I only weigh about 175 lbs. I know they advertise a 350 lbs. limit. I don't know about that. I suspect at that weight a wood frame chair would be better. But for folks in my weight range this chair is every bit as sturdy as necessary and it is quite comfortable. The fact that the chair is padded and the width is extra large made sleeping in it over night a pleasure. When I first got the chair I did have a bit of trouble adjusting the chair to lean back while I was in it, but I lubricated the sliding parts with some liquid soap and after that I had no trouble at all. I am six feet tall. When extended all the way back my feet go beyond the end of the chair and my achilles rest on the end bar. That doesn't sound comfortable but for a couple of dollars I bought an extra large swimming "noodle" that I cut to the right size and put over the bar. That worked really well. I was comfortable all night.

Very Comfortable
I ordered two zero gravity chairs from two different companies and I like this one better. I believe that it may be a half inch longer than my first chair which actually is noticeable. It does not have "padding" like my first chair which does not detract from its comfort level but it is likely to dry quicker by many hours after a rain. I noticed that the 1st chair can take up to a half day to dry out if the temperature is reasonably warm and the sun comes out. I have no experience with this chair in the rain but on the surface, its material looks like it will dry out more quickly. The head rest is not as adjustable as the head rest of my first chair but it is likely to stay in place better. I see the elastic on the 1st chair stretching out and not holding its position in the future. This head rest on this chair has attachment points built into the seat back and it can be removed but I am not sure if it can be relocated. Fortunately , the pre-designated head rest position works for me. The table is permanently attached to this chair and folds up with the chair. I see the table on the 1st chair (not permanently attached) getting misplaced in the future although I will do my best to keep track of it. I like this chair's color better than my first chair. I had to spray the first chair's joints with a silicone lubricant to get it to move while sitting in it so that tells me that the quality control at the 1st chair's manufacturer is not so good and I may have future problems with it. Both cost about the same amount of money. The first chair is suitable, it is comfortable and it is neutral in color (beige) which can be a benefit in some situations but the first chair that I bought will not be my first choice for use. I will pull out the 1st chair only for overflow seating now that I have this chair. Currently, I do not know how long either chair will last with use. Hopefully for many years. If this chair fails too early (after only a year or two) then I will update this review. I bought zero gravity chair covers for both for when they are not actively being used so I am not going out of my way to challenge their longevity.

Great for Tall-ish People
I read tons of reviews of zero gravity chairs to fit my taller frame. Many were perfect for average sized people but not above 5'8 or so. I'm 5'10.5 and 180 lbs and this chair is perfect for me. My husband is 6'6 and 185 and while he loved the comfort, his feet hang over the bottom bar so he either has to bend his knees to place his feet on the bar or deal with the eventual discomfort of the bar digging into his legs. My neighbor is 5'4 and 125 or so and it's pretty large for her. She had a bit of trouble getting out of it. She did like it though and is looking for a smaller one for herself. Overall, I love this chair. I read other reviews that it doesn't age well outside; I store mine in my sunroom and take it outside when ready to use. It feels very sturdy. I love that it can be locked in any position. There is a learning curve to opening it and moving it once sat in it, but it's not difficult. The table is a great accessory; I take crocheting, a book, my phone, a couple different drinks, etc. out with me and I have a place to put all of it. This chair is perfect if you're like me and don't have an outdoor patio/deck space and would like to relax outside.
