Healthy, Tasty and perfect for small dogs!
I’ve been feeding my small dog the Wellness Complete Health Small Breed Turkey & Oatmeal Recipe for 3+ years, and the results have been outstanding. The kibble is perfectly sized for small mouths, making mealtime more enjoyable. The first ingredients—deboned turkey, chicken meal, and salmon meal—provide high-quality protein that supports lean muscle mass and energy levels. What I appreciate most is the inclusion of wholesome grains like oatmeal and barley, which are gentle on my dog’s digestive system. The formula also contains added probiotics, antioxidants, and omega fatty acids, promoting a healthy coat and strong immune system. There are no fillers like corn, wheat, or soy, and no artificial preservatives or by-products. Overall, this food has improved my dog’s coat, energy, and overall health. Highly recommended!

I love this dog food. I've been using it since 2018
I've been using this dog food for my furbaby since bringing her home in Sept 2018. It has always done good for her. She is a #6.8 morkie. Her weight has remained pretty consistent. She loves this food. She jumps up and down in anticipation for being fed. It is always fresh. I do put it in an air tight container. She has never had diarrhea or any other GI issues. She saw the vet last week and got a clean bill of health. The dental vet told me that for her being a senior dog, her teeth look amazing which is believe is due to this food. The quality of the food is excellent.

Great food for my best friend!
My little dog absolutely loves this food! As soon as I fill her bowl, she dives right in, and that alone makes me so happy. The kibble is the perfect size for small breeds, and I like knowing it’s made with real turkey and good, simple ingredients instead of fillers. I also have this set up on auto-ship, which is such a lifesaver—no more last-minute runs to the store or worrying about running out. Plus, the price here is way better than what I was paying at Petco, so it saves me money too. Since switching to this food, I’ve noticed my dog’s coat looks shinier, and she just seems overall healthier and more energetic. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m feeding her something that’s both tasty and good for her. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better food for my pup. If you’ve got a small dog, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

Veterinarian highly recommended
Wellness pet food is the finest quality pet food available, in my opinion, and I am a long time holistic veterinarian who uses it for my own pet, and for other pets in the past. Wellness foods are wheat, corn, soy, additive and preservative free. They are ideal holistic nutrition for healthy pets as well as pets needing a restricted diet for food sensitivities of any kind, and never include potentially problematic ingredients. This is the case with my beloved rescue dog who as a puppy had to have such a specific restricted healthy diet that if she ate anything else she would be vomiting and having diarrhea for a week, needing fluid therapy. As much as I didn't like it, she had to be on constant medications and probiotics for her first couple years of life, before finally being healthy enough to be tapered off of these.. She initially was saved as a puppy from these repeated bouts of illness by Iams Prime Naturals and then Iams Sensitive Naturals, but when these became hard to find, after extensive research into nutrition and the available options, I found Wellness, and that has been what has kept her healthy and happy ever since. I liked the quality and standards of ingredients so much that I switched all my other pets including cats to Wellness as well. Wellness does offer grain free versions also, but in my opinion and that of most veterinarians, grain free foods for pets are a fad with no real nutritional or biological basis, anymore than the fad in people. Dogs and cats are not wild animals and even cats are not obligate carnivores who eat no other types of foods besides meats. There is simply no scientific basis for this unfortunate fad, and I don't believe these foods are as well balanced as the original formulations of a high quality top of the line holistic food like Wellness, which is tested and certified at every step of development and production for the health and well-being of the pets who will be fed this food. Sure, cheap pet food with corn and chicken by products are not healthy by any stretch of the imagination, but easily digested carbohydrates from healthy sources like barley and rice, and sometimes potato, are important for a well balanced diet for our pets and for the digestion and assimilation of all the good healthy nutrients in high quality foods like Wellness. I will mention one more thing - even though this is "small breed" version of this food, and I have a 20 lb dog, I feed her the regular size kibble because the pieces of this are so small they are smaller than most cat food kibble. Larger pieces involve some chewing which is essential for dental health. Very few dogs would be small enough to need kibble this size. I personally buy it to use as treats for my dog because it is easy to use and she loves it, and it is very hard to find treats that meet the strict standards of quality needed to keep her healthy. Also, she has a treat-dispensing ball toy which can be set to a smaller opening for smaller pieces, and the "small breed" kibble fits perfectly into that toy for maximum enjoyment. In summary, I can say that I as a holistic veterinarian prefer Wellness food to even proprietary foods sold only by veterinarians. I think the quality and the standards of their ingredients cannot be matched by any other food. I will always feed it to my dog,(but the regular kibble for her regular meals, not the "small breed"), for the rest of her life, and also to any other pets I acquire. And it's good to have the "small breed" tiny kibble available to use for treats and her toys. Holistic nutrition when it leads to healthy high quality food such as this cannot be beat. Cannot highly recommend enough!!

Best food for my little guy
I make my dog some fresh food and mix it with some kibble. This is the ONLY brand I have found that works well for my little dog who has some allergy problems. Made with ingredients I like such as apples, blueberries, kale, flaxseed, carrots and a slew of vitamins, this food also has omega 3's and 6's, L-carnitine, glucosamine and chondroitin. The pieces are very small and easy for him to eat. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that this brand of food has more 'dust' than any other brand I have ever tried. In the bottom third of the bad, I sift the food through a strainer to get the residue out. So some of the food is wasted, but unless I manage to find something better, this is our brand.

She's licking the bowl twice a day!!
I have been trying to find a nutritious food for my picky 6 pound, 1 year old, terrier/poodle/mutt and runt of the litter. Went through Puppy Chow, generic puppy chow, and Iams and then I started reading up on dog foods- and boy, did I learn a lot! No more grocery store food unless it is an "emergency" where getting online is not possible or we run out before the shipment arrives. That stuff is pure crap. We then went through a bag of Orijen, which I think is an excellent food, but not for her. She would eat it with toppings only and rarely ate all of it. Stools were often loose- not to mention the gas. A tiny dog can only eat about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food per day so he/she needs to eat it all and it needs to be packed with nutrition. Back to the drawing board since the Orijen didn't work! Next we tried the Wellness Super5Mix Adult Small Breed. She eats every bite and licks the dish and sometimes wants an evening snack of the plain Wellness kibble. She eats it without any topping but I do usually mix in a TBS of wet food (or cottage cheese) which Wellness recommends in order to give the dog a bit of extra fluid. We live in the desert, so that's important. Anyway, she REALLY loves that! She has cleaned her plate twice daily ever since I started her on this wonderful food. The stools are formed and no gas. It seems to be the perfect food for her- and maybe for other dogs too which is why I am writing this. It is such a relief to see her eating a good nutritious dog food and enjoying it. I would definitely give it a try if your dog has "pickyness"/appetite/digestion issues, or if you just want to provide 4 star nutrition. It costs more than the grocery store stuff, but a small dog doesn't eat much so I make it fit into my budget. I try to include it in with the occasional larger Amazon order and get free shipping. It may be available in pet stores as well, but I have to go 15-20 miles out of town to find a pet store, so ordering online is easier. I highly recommend trying this food.
