Excelente producto, muy bueno. Lo uso en PR pues tenemos probabilidad de fuertes sismos en cualquier momento. Tiene un chillido fuerte al momento de ocurrìr un sismo para que puedas resguardarte y salvar tu vida y la de tu familia.

Working great
I live in Puerto Rico and after we got hit 6.5 earthquake, I said, I need to try this device. We actually have earthquake every day but is just from 2.5 to 3.2 not a big deal after feel the big one 6.5. So last night like 12:45 am, my son and I listening the alarm, and my son said, is that is the earthquake Alarm that you bought? And I said yes, but I don't know if is working. Then like after 10 seconds after the alarm, we got hit by earthquake almost scale of 4 but that happened like a one mile away. So this device really work. You can have like a 10 seconds to get out of your house.

It works above 4.5R but not below that measure
Finally, I can write a review of this product because last night we had a 6.4 R earthquake in South Peru and the device worked perfectly fine, I tried to adjust the calibrator to make the sound for >4.5 R quakes and it works. Here is a video of the recording from last night

Turned out to be a pretty cool purchase so since its relevant now I'm writing a review. I live about 90 miles from Ridgecrest and the alarm has been sounding off for all the earthquakes above about a 4.5. Those are the ones you want to know about anyway. If it was more sensitive and went off for smaller ones below 4.0 it would be really annoying and I would've stopped using it along time ago. The alarm sound is a chime that's loud enough to wake you up and get your attention but it's not obnoxious and awful like a smoke detector. I'm glad I bought it now, it was totally worth it.

Excelente dispositivo para detectar cualquier sismo. Los recomiendo al 100%. Es tan ruidoso que te darás cuenta cuando ocurra un sismo. Lo único que puedo criticar, es que usa batería de 9V. Debería de traer una batería recargable, luego de ahí todo super.
