Thank You. **Q: Will these replace the factory tweeters in a 2005 monte Carlo ?** A: It is unlikely that they will just drop in the same place. The wire connections will probably need to be modified, You should take one of the old ones out and compare it to the photos. The mounting hole will probably need to be modified as well. I was able to use these in my 2005 Silverado, which came without tweeters, because I have many years of experience in auto upholstery work, and with automotive electrical systems and electronics. I put a pair of these in the dash in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and you can immediately tell the difference of these units over the stock tweeters. Installation was very easy, they supply more than enough brackets to mount these either surface or flush style, also included is double-sided adhesive for an easy, quick install. It took me roughly 20 minutes to install them (mainly due to the fact that I had to strip the pre-existing wires for my stock tweeter harness). The overall sound is not "tinny", and not overpowering. They're the perfect addition to compliment those highs in your music.
