## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this only shut the system down when it's actively raining, or will it prevent start up a day or two after a heavy rain?**
A: The Rain Clik will actually do both. It will shut the system down if it starts raining during operation as long as it is enough water. Mine normally will not run for at least 24 hours after a good rain.

**Q: how far apart can sensor and reciever be?**
A: Up to 800' line of sight. This varies depending on what the signal is passing through, walls, trees etc. We recommend trying to keep it within 50' of the controller.

**Q: Will the transmitter and receiver stay paired up after a power outage or do you have to manually reestablish pairing?**
A: I have to reset from outside every time there's an outage.

**Q: Can this be installed with a Weathermatic SL 1600 controller?**
A: If the Weathermatic SL has a "bypass" or sensor system in place, you should be able to us it.  Review the owners manual for the Sensor to see if your controller wiring schematic is compatible.  I used the Hunter RainClick on a Rainbird controller.  Hope that helps.

Once installed properly it works ok. Please be sure to follow the instructions exactly as written. I had to watch videos and call the company after my install was not working. Everything was correct but the issue is the processor in the control head. It is very slow and not smart. When you make a change it takes a few moments to accept and reconfigure itself. Once I gave it a few minutes it accepted the wiring and sensor input. Had to perform the checks several times to get it to work. Once was accepted it works ok. Finally, there are no instructions as to how to adjust the drying gate on the sensor for your area. Once the operation is clear in your head you will have to play with it, letting it get wet and drying out to adjust the drying times to get it to work. Also it will not work when running the system on “Manual.” It has to be auto turned on by the controller to work. As this is the only option I would buy it again.
