Embarrassed for the company
I gave these 2 stars cause they ARE real leather, otherwise it would be one. First off they came in a box that was sold old and worn I'm surprised ups shipped it, I have better looking boxs in my basement! The leather was dry and cracking and just looked like it was setting in a warehouse for years, and there's two small slices in the leather where they attach under the seat. Now I know there only $50 but still, I would be embarrassed to send this to someone. I'm gonna try to revive the leather with some cream but i definitely wouldn't buy these again.

Now I can haul my stuff
These are good bags. For the price they are great. No they don't have fancy quick buckles under the metal buckles. But they are real leather, not pvc. The leather is thick and strong. They are very stiff. They came with leather lacing for the 2 pieces the go under the seat. I didn't use it. Instead, I zip tied the rings on the back to by saddlebag supports. Then I pulled the 2 pieces together over the fender (under where the seat will go) and put zip ties through the holes. They are very snugly in place and don't shift or flop at all. Looks like they will work very well.

Is this really leather? Feels like plastic. The buckles are kind of hard to operate. Fine for the money, the large size is nice and it works for what I need

Do not recommend fasteners do not hold up.
Not good quality nor is it made well. First ride out with my bags on a trip, the strap on one bag broke.

Pretty good.
Good bags overall. Did the fire test and they pass, so their either real leather (made in Pakistan), or very fire resistant. Bags are stiff and keep their shape good and the leather is a good thickness. The back that attaches the two bags is a different leather; it's thinner than what the rest of bags are made of; very dense, as if it was ironed flat. The thinness of the back is not confidence inspiring and it's the reason I give it 4 stars. The bag connection length is designed to go under the rear seat. There is no quick disconnect on the buckles. The back is also not exactly symmetric, so they fit under the tail lights a little deeper one way than the other. There's a single small rivet holding the bag to the back along with the stitching and a button flap cover under the lid. You can fit two gallons of milk in each bag with the lid closed, not that that I would; I just don't think they'd hold the weight.

Great Bags
Exactly as advertised, solid hard leather saddlebags. Looks great on my 2002 Sportster Custom. Love them

... was a little short and leather quality isn't that great. But they look good and hold their shape
Yoke was a little short and leather quality isn't that great. But they look good and hold their shape. Also, don't get them wet without treating them.
