Review: Twice the volume of concrete for the same weight as normal concrete. Making it easier to carry !!! - I bought Maximum Concrete by Maxrete for a small garden project around the back of my house where I couldn’t get a traditional concrete truck to deliver. This product didn't disappoint and made the work easy. You get twice the volume of concrete in one Maxrete 25kg bag as you do with a bag of normal concrete, therefore making it a lot easier to carry around to the back of my house. Saving time, and saving my ageing back ! The bags are bigger than traditional concrete bags making them easier to manage and made of a new ecological material. I hauled 5 bags, but would have had to carry 10 of the older traditional bags...Mixing was easy, all I had to do was add water. I used a wheelbarrow and shovel to do this. I needed to make 2m2 and used 5 bags. The depth was around 50mm. The concrete set in about 2hrs and was ready to walk on the following day, ready to start my fixings. It dried with a smooth finish and consistent colour. I will defo be using this product again and would recommend it to anyone who has to carry bags through projects. This saved me time and as I said earlier saved my back !

**Q: I have a large area to do for a new patio, is this suitable ?**
A: Yes, perfect for large areas and small. This should help you decide how many bags you need.
Coverage when mixed with water, 1 bag 20 litres or (0.02m3) will produce approximately:
0.80m2 @ 25mm thick 
0.40m2 @ 50mm thick 
0.26m2 @ 75mm thick 
0.20m2 @ 100mm thick

**Q: Can I use this concrete to make a dining table top?**
A: Yes you can, we recommend you cast the table upside down, then flip over...so the bottom of the mould face is the table top and totally smooth. Many videos on YT how to make concrete table tops. Don't forget to seal the concrete with concrete sealer to stop stains. Last tip don't use more that the water dose stated on the bag, you can wash out the ingredients - you need a nice creamy mix as in this video. Thanks Maxrete®

**Q: To make ornaments, what material cast should I use so it doesn’t stick?**
A: Regardless of the mould former material you use, generally you must use mould release agents, its an oil you can buy on-line.

**Q: Is this product suitable to secure a swing in the ground**
A: Yes you can, this red bag CONCRETE MIX product takes 24 hours to fully set. To work faster our green bag of POST MIX concrete might be better for you as it sets in 5-10 mins. It does the job. I only gave it 4 stars because it seems to contain small granuals which don't mix in with the rest of the cement. This makes it hard to get a very smooth finish but it did the job.
