This is an excellent book, especially for new believers! It’s clear, encouraging, and helps guide you through the basics of the Holy Spirit in a practical and uplifting way. Highly recommended for anyone starting their spiritual journey.

This is what the body of Christ need to know, it will purify your soul and gave you a greater hunger for righteousness, holiness, sanctification, purity and THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is the book that a recommended for those who want to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

This is the first book I have read about John G. Lake, Pentecostal evangelist (circa 1900-1935), and starter of the Spokane Healing Rooms. The title quite adeptly describes what is contained in the book - this is a book on how the Holy Spirit can come to inhabit one's soul and do great works for the glory of God. Rev. Lake describes miraculous healings that took place in South Africa and in America. The healings are so miraculous, that one can only concur that they are of God and from God, through the Holy Spirit. The last three chapters of the book explain how Rev. Lake was baptized into the Holy Spirit, and how the reader can prepare his/her soul for the same. This is a marvelous book, a book I could hardly put down. I most highly recommend it to those searching for something more in their faith life. The Holy Spirit is that "something more". He enlivens and gives power to the WORD of God, and great works result. This book is a great starting point for a study of the Holy Spirit. I liked it so much, I am ordering more works on the life and ministry on John G. Lake. kone

I like the book l learn about holy spirit and john g lake . Mostly l learn about john g lake story and miracle.

Love it I buy again

What a powerful book. God used John Lake in amazing ways during his lifetime. My husband read the book first and advised me to read the last part first which tells a little about his life before he entered the ministry. That really did set a good background for the rest of the reading. As much as I enjoyed reading about his ministry, I was really blessed by the various articles and sermons that were included in the book. There's power in what he wrote even now and tremendous spiritual insights. Roberts Liardon did a great job of editing without being intrusive. I think a blessing is in store for whomever reads this book.

John G. Lake wqas a greaat human being. They broke the mold when they made him. Wish the world would be full of John G. Lakes, or it was mandatory to study him in school. He was a believer and should be labeled a saint. Even though we all are, but he created miracles. If only we all had that same faith!
