**Q: Can i stick pierced earring through pad?**
A: For typical pads, I don't think so.  However there are special earring "pads" that are desiged to keep pierced ear holes from closing, so pierced earrings can be used..

**Q: do they help to keep from sliding off ears?**
A: They do help a little with sliding off your ear. But if they are pulled hard or yanked they will come off, even with these pads added.

These were nice pads for my clip on earrings and did help them feel more comfortable. I feel like more should have been included for the price. The only other issue I had was that on several of the pads, it was very difficult to separate the adhesive strip from the pad and it wanted to stick together (other reviewers have mentioned this, as well). I am not sure if they were too old or exposed to heat or some other issue, but this was not good. I was able (after doing it very, very carefully) able to separate them, but shouldn't have been a problem to begin with. But I liked them once they were on the earrings and they did the job they were meant to do.
