Video Game Appearance Godzilla Head to Tail Action Figure, 12"

This is a fantastic looking figure and it does have a great pixelation color to it. I thoroughly enjoy the large unique dorsal plates as no other Godzilla features these dorsal plates. The one thing that does stand out is the eyes are a dark red. The open mouth figure is based on the very same concept as the 1984 Godzilla is with the exception of the color and the dorsal plates. This is one of the most unique figures out there as it does cost a pretty penny anymore. I had one time went to Toys "R" Us and had to make a decision on whether to get the Godzilla 1954 figure or this figure. I chose a Godzilla 1954 figure and as soon as I made the decision it went up in price. However eventually I did find it for a decent price here on Amazon.com

Yep, I bought this for myself (now 63 years young), and not for grandkids. :o) Love Mr. Godzilla and say this in this blue hue, I had to have it. Great detailing to this piece. Great collector shelf item!

This is on my son's Christmas list, and Amazon is the only place I could track it down! The price is great, and honestly the packaging is super cool. Hopefully it's well-made and all that jazz but I won't know that until my kiddo opens it on Christmas day. For now though...5 stars!

As far as NECA Godzillas go, this is the best of bunch. The figure underneath the digitized paint is the 85 figure which is rather ugly, but it works in context of bringing the NES feel to life. The collector's box it comes in is rather awesome and makes the figure a must have almost more than the figure itself! Great package for the price.

I paid 30 bucks for this figure, which I thought was a lot of money considering these figures go for $25. But I was very happy to get as a restock price considering this figure was selling upwards of $100! So I'll accept it for that lol. Overall, this is a really cool looking action figure in very unique style. Don't expect much posability, it's really more for "show". It'll make great for pictures and any Godzilla fan will love and appreciate it. I'm pretty excited to have it.

Another GREAT figure by NECA!!! This is sure to be one of a collectors coolest of pieces or the coolest of your kids toys! Why?... This is the FIRST and ONLY figure of this version of Godzilla as he appeared in the 1988 NES video game from Nintendo. The " pixel ' paint job is applied perfectly on this figure and his red eyes make for great contrast. As of 8-3-15 this figure has been discontinued by NECA. On sale for only about a month and all of its units have been shipped. What's left is left. Get him while you can, you won't regret it!!!!!

Exactly as pictured, godzilla fan loved it, very retro. Packaging had a clear front so you can admire it without opening box( for the collectors).

Neca produziert seit wenigen Jahren neben Star Wars-, Pacific Rim- und u. a. auch Alien-Figuren nun Godzilla-Figuren. Bemerkenswert ist dabei, dass Neca es schafft, für wenig Geld qualitativ hochwertige Spielzeuge (oder auch Sammelfiguren) herzustellen, die im Falle Godzillas der SH MonsterArts-Reihe von Bandai ziemlich nahe kommt. Die Figur selbst ist bereits aufgrund ihrer Existenz ein Kaufgrund: Dieser Godzilla repräsentiert die Spielfigur aus dem Spiel "Godzilla - Monster of Monsters" von 1988 für die NES und ist das erste Mal als Modell kaufbar, da selbst Bandai nie einen produziert hat (zumindest habe ich nichts davon mitbekommen). Das Modell ist ungefähr 6" groß, gut designed und bietet viele Gelenke von Kopf bis Fuß/ Schwanz. Meines hatte allerdings einen "steifen Nacken" und unter großem Kraftaufwand und einigem Bangen um das Modell musste ich so den Hals vom Rest trennen und wiedereinsetzen, seitdem gab es keine weiteren Probleme und alles 'läuft'. Der Kopf ist der 1984-Version sehr ähnlich, der Schwanz ist - typisch für diese Reihe - größtenteils ein Gummigelenk, also ein einziges, biegsames Element. Mir macht es nichts aus, jedoch ist es Geschmackssache, ob man sich damit abfinden kann, dass es keine weiteren Gelenke gibt. Die Farben entsprechen dem Original, wobei die rote Augenfarbe als Kontrast neu hinzugefügt wurde, was ziemlich gut und bedrohlich aussieht, sehr fantasievoll und faszinierend war die Entscheidung, pixelartige Flecken auf den Rücken, die Extremitäten und die Rückenstacheln zu setzen, dies ist eine sehr schöne Referenz an den Ursprung aus dem Spiel. Apropos Referenz: Die Größte erhält man in Form der Verpackung, die das Box-Design des NES-Spiels imitiert. Zusätzlich wurden Schmutzflecken, Risse und Staub digital hinzugefügt, wodurch richtiges Retro-Feeling aufkommt und man aus einiger Entfernung diese Box wohl bestimmt mit dem Original verwechseln dürfte. Genau genommen gibt es noch mehr zu entdecken, aber ich möchte niemandem etwas vorwegnehmen ;) Insgesamt eine hervorragende Figur, die zwar nicht ganz an die SH MonsterArts rankommt, aufgrund ihrer Exklusivität, ihres liebevollen Designs und einem großartigen Box-Design aber einige Kaufgründe bietet. Der Preis von über 30€ ist hoch, höher sogar als bei anderen Modellen des Riesenmonsters vom gleichen Hersteller, jedoch lohnt es sich meiner Meinung nach. Ich empfehle sie jedem Fan von Godzilla, Riesenmonstern oder generell Sammelmodellen.
